Shameful. I don't know the bloke serving me from a bar of soap so I can only presume he is racist.terrible service terrible attitude facial expression told me he he wanted to punch on.can't believe the arrogance.
All that was after being served by a very helpful nice lady

The only store in the northern suburbs that had the full range of roller blinds during their recent sale.

The staff member who served me at the fabric counter is always rude and of of the most unpleasant human beings I have ever come across

Had a very positive experience with team member Nick and a young very pretty girl who assisted me to find a fitted sheet.
Both went out of their way to explain, check prices and be friendly.

Thanks to the ladies who helped me out. I needed new bed sheets and a mattress protector. All your staff are friendly and very helpful.

Store and staff are great. Products are mediocre, but I can work with it. Use your own screws if ever you install one of their products.

Value for money. Has a great variety of stuff. Range of products from house utility items to decoration items and much more.

Went to buy some cushions and found that there was 30% discount on all cushions. After making the purchase realised that I had been charged the full price. The staff looked at the transaction and said that it had scanned the discount price. On checking I went back to ask about the discrepancy only to be told that discount was for VIP members only. No where on the promotion did it mention that this discount was only for VIP members. What a rip off. Shame on you spotlight for discriminating.

Went to pick up my gender reveal balloon in which I called prior to going in to make sure it had already been filled as I didn’t want to ruin my own surprise, the lady I spoke to was rude and responded “well they’re making one now I assume it’s yours”. Went in 20 min later and they had left the evidence (pink confetti) all over the counter in the balloon section. Popped it later that afternoon and well yeah it’s a girl

Very rude sale person on the floor and doesn’t even explain things politely and it’s Covid now, touching the customer while talking. Zero manners and all staff have attitude problem except the counter lady.

I don’t know who it was but that senior looking lady refused to accept my return of items because I did not had my receipt. Eventually once I said I am member she reluctantly agreed to make an exception and made sure to mention it should not happen again because it’s not their policy. The unpleasant thing about this experience was was the attitude of staff.felt like I have committed a sin.

Never before I had trouble returning stuff; customer service has always offered to help look up with card or transaction receipt but not this time.
Some big retailers allow return with no questions asked at all and can send receipt as text to mobile for convenience.

Not sure if what I was told is Spotlight Wide policy, just laziness or something else but then it only shows how much catchup Spotlight need to do in terms of upgrade of their counter and staff trainings. They seem to be stuck in 90s.

Good store. I was surprised at the variety of items for sale. Haven't been in a spotlight store for about 4 years and expected the usual fabrics, threads, Fiona's, curtains etc but they have everything. Cookware, lollies, utensils and many more. Spotlight has changed or this store is special. I was also after some blank DVD and when I saw all the other stuff I asked but that is one thing they don't have. They did tell me where to get it though. Helpful staff, although they are very busy. Almost a KMart without clothes.

Mary from the fabric section was the MOST AMAZING STAFF member ever! She was amazingly helpful, deserves a pay rise! Only let down is the shop is often under staffed, but the staff that are there are fantastic and always really helpful.

Huge store with all the home, craft and gift ware you could need. But its Spotlight, so you already knew that.

I submitted the review in the photos to Spotlight regarding my dissatisfaction with the Christmas "tree" I have purchased. As I had bought it through their online store that is where I lodged my opinion however, as documented, it was apparently not acceptable feedback and thusly rejected.

I am therefore sharing my review, along with the item to which it relates, on a platform where I hope the company cannot censor it as - sarcasm regarding aesthetics aside - I genuinely believe that the materials used in the construction of the tree may be a health risk. Of particular concern, especially if inhaled, is the flocking, a powdery substance of unspecified chemical composition, that is not in a fixed state and the loose particles of which required multiple vacuumings in addition to a dust extractor to remove.

I daresay I'll be back soon to edit this review (of my original review) when I approach Spotlight in an attempt to return this pestilent item.

Has items in stock most of the time, which is reliable. Staff is a bit unware of stuff. Foyer is dirty.

Extremely helpful and courteous staff member who works here. Always ready to oblige and pleasant too. Good range of products across all departments.

Lots of great products for your home in one place but be warned you might think you only need 1 thing but you will have 10 things in your bag!
