Spotlight Geelong

Spotlight management needs to employ more staff at the fabric counter especially on Saturdays. Only 2 staff to assist and very long queues. They also need to have a roving assistant on the shop floor in busy areas like fabric - there is no one available to answer a simple question without customer having to join the long queue at the cutting counter just to ask if something is in stock. Very frustrating!

I enjoy the workers at the front. No Matter that I always forget my Spotlight members card they take the time to look it up.

Love this place, staff are always happy to help and they always have a good deal on bedding

I love this place its my go to for all my craft items. Very busy all the time, so be prepared but the girls and guys are lovely. There's so much to buy and look at bedding home wares, curtains, towels, bathroom and much more XOXO

Great service and range of products for crafts and DIY home projects. Can’t believe I haven’t discovered Spotlight before.

It is a general chain store which would have given me the standard three out of five. This time was a four as it had the item I really require where other stores that are in the metro area haven't.

Kudos to this store.

Every time I have visited here there seems to be a staff shortage and I always have to wait in line for 10 or so mins. It is also difficult to track down staff to find things. This visit there was a sale on so I assume staff were busy with the stock but there were aisles clogged with stock making it hard to move around. We asked a staff member if they stocked a particular item while she was friendly she didn't know and didn't attempt to find out from anyone else. Staff are friendly but likely over worked and under staffed.

Spend about 1 hour ordering blinds for the house and the blinds had to be cut to size. Had problem with with sale and was not able to order. The sale assistant was very help and patience.

I went to try and find some yarn the shelves were a mess. The pricing on alot of the products were missing or in the wrong place. I tried to get some assistance and the person was rude and told me to just take it to the counter to get a price. Thankfully there is lincraft who are always helpful and there it's so much easier to find the items I need

Great bargains, lots of variety, great customer service makes shopping at Spotlight a pleasant experience.

You can find all the raw material that you need for decorations, tailoring clothes, crafts etc. Love their bedsheets as well

Good stock of items but unfortunately staff are quite unhelpful. Took close to 40 minutes in store, 3 different desks to be told the item we wanted wasn't in stock and was told rudely we should have just checked their website. We had already done so and it was showing in stock. An unfortunate experience

This place have so much stuff, even things you wouldn't expect. My wife always walks out with something.

Customer service was good, found some of the items I wanted. However it seems most of the yarn has gone from spotlight.not much of a choice

This is a great shop to visit, but sometimes it would be good if there were more staff available so you can get advice when you need it. They appear too busy and you feel bad disturbing them from their allocated tasks. I still think it is a good shop

Very crowded aisles but they do have everything for craft projects. Having everything in one place is convenient.

A busy shop with compact isles that, in places, feel like a maze. The exit is also shared with people queueing to buy products, so walking past them to leave does get you some funny looks as it does look like you're trying to push in. The shop stocks a huge variety of products relating to the house. From finished items to material to make your own creations this place has it all. Oh, and it also has a great range of stuff for birthdays.

I don't know if its just the Belmont store but there is stuff everywhere, no prices on most things, you can't find prices, limited stock, always a wait at the registers, and staff don't have knowledge on products. Other than that its a great place for a variety of things

It's true, I went to spotlight. And for the record, I was looking for blinds. Did I find what I was looking for? No, I did not.
