Spotlight Fountain Gate

Understaffed. Very inexperienced staff, who don't seem to know the products at all. So it's hard to get help in the store. They have a good range and probably will have what you are looking for

Gave me a voucher for $10. No minimum spend condition. Wouldn't allow me to buy a $9.95 item. Not happy Jan.

Initially I went to the Cranbourne home maker spotlight because I had previously bought balloons that I wanted to be filled and was turned away by a rude lady in the Cranbourne store so I decided to go to fountain gate spotlight to get them filled and they were extremely friendly toward me and did it, no questions asked. The ladies at the fountain gate store are so much better than the ones in Cranbourne store. I felt more welcomed here and I got exactly what I wanted without any hassle and such friendly customer service. The lady was so friendly toward my daughter and let her watch her fill the balloons too. If you want top customer service then you should come to the spotlight fountain gate.
I also noticed that they had a wider range of everything and store was well organised and laid out.
Thankyou to you lovely ladies who helped me out today. They definitely deserve a raise. Very happy with my visit and would 100% come here from now on.

I had the worst experience ever with one of the staff members in the fabric section. She accused us of stealing the deflated balloon that they had put out as decoration. I had given it to my one year old grand daughter to keep her entertained while I shopped.
This made me very angry and frustrated.
When I spoke to the manager the next day she was very dissapointed and apologetic.
I do enjoy visiting this store. Hopefully, this won't happen again to someone else.

It's a spotlight so everything's all the same but there's one super nice girl who was at the fabric cutting section (she has red hair but i forgot to remember her name)

Very good variety, I remember when it was much smaller back in the day. Tad expensive but will definitely come here again.

Terrible customer service, worst one I have ever experienced. The other stores are way better.

Cooper at Spotlight Fountain Gate was the most helpful, polite and knowledgeable sales person I've ever encountered.
Today I called to enquire about a particular roller blind and not only did Cooper try his utmost to source the blind from other stores but he also provided me with advice on alternative products and options in order to meet my requirements.
I felt compelled to write this review as it was such a great 'spirit lifter' to receive this level of service - Thank you Cooper and Spotlight!

Took my friend so she could get her things she wanted at Spotlight as she doesn'tdrive anymore. She had a Dr's appointment at Berwick afterwards.

This is our second time to shop at Spotlight. They have a variety of items. When we were very focused on shopping and did not notice the closing time, a lady came to tell us that the store closing time was 7 o'clock before closing and we must go now! She spoke a bit like an imperative, and I immediately apologized and checked out the purchased items. I know that it is our negligence not to notice the closing time. We can also understand that the employees work very hard, but if she can tell the customers gently and tactfully, we will notice that the closing time will not be delayed next time. I love spolight, but it was an unpleasant buying experience last night️.

I've always found what I need at spotlight, I've been a customer since it first opened, whilst some if the older staff members go out of the way to help you there are some that look like they would rather be somewhere else

Clean Neat and Tidy.
A lot of choices in general but very limited on candle choices.
Customer Service at the fabric counter was exceptional.
The team member was more than happy to serve then offered to ring up the other items we had in the trolley.
Overall a good shopping experience.

Great service, asked one of employees to get me trolley as there wasn't any in the, the young girl went and found me one. The cashier was very lovely and helpful.

Best place to shop. Helen from material area has outstanding customer service. I bought gazebo she helped me to take it to my car.how nice if her.

Large store with heaps of products, heaps of parking and loads of customers, but only 4 checkouts. This equates to long slow moving questions. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a coffee shop right outside the front door for those that need to wait for partners to shop in store.

Not a place I have been to before this trip, big place rather messy in places, price ticketing a bit misleading for those who don't shop all the time there, staff cheerful good covid measures

Great service, employees are friendly. Can never go wrong with a spontaneous Spotlight trip (to buy a birthday card). Even signed up to be a spotlight member!

Good customer service in a busy store, close to closing time, the sale was on, with curtains etc. The staff serves well under the pressure.

Huge range of fabrics and other bits and pieces. Seemed very busy on Public holiday, Staff seemed to be a little scarce. Other than that, very helpful people that looked after us when our turn came.

Most of the products don't have price tags on them and the price check booths were for namesake. I'd to run to the billing section couple of times to find the discounted price.
