The taste is really good, especially the vegetarian items. Daal Makhani was more like a dhaba style daal but very tasty. Daal masala which is yellow dhaba style daal was also too good. Shahi Paneer was another item to be appreciated.

I have had lunch in this beautiful restaurant, food is so delicious and can guarantee that its one of the best restaurants in Victoria with yummy Indian cuisine

Fantastic! Great food with the most perfectly cooked rice! The kitsch dinning room is awesome with trinkets and folky art. The autonomous waiter robot adds an element of theatre to the whole experience. Well done.

Lovely place food and service was good can’t fault it. Love the little robot that brings you food for you, it puts a smile on everyone’s face.

Would be ideal to have small medium options, $19.99 curry is very pricy. Award winning.please don't expect that quality.its same as any other Indian restaurant from a food quality, taste perspective.

Tandoori Chicken consistency was great but too salty marinade.

Chicken Korea hot option was fiercely HOT, however the hot option of other curry was as expected. Need calibration on their spicy scale.

We're usually fans of Indian food, but this was the worst for us. Had takeaway. Dry and bland mixed tandouri plate and paneer.most of which ended up in the bin, minced lamb kebabs were awful. Vindaloo sauce was ok, but not at all spicy and the small amount of beef was not tender. Sides were ordinary Overpriced, disappointing. First and last time for us

I dont normally leave reviews, but this restaurant deserves recognition. This is by far the best Indian food I've had and I've had a lot of Indian food. I would drive 3 hours to the grampians just to eat in this restaurant again. The staff were super friendly and the food came super quick. It was divine!

Very authentic, varied flavours. Ordered the chilli garlic chicken and it was fantastic (almost too hot to finish although I did ask for it spicy so my fault I guess!)

Just giving two stars for the ambience, the serving staff and the speed by which they serve. Talking about the food, the taste is just average. Ordered garlic chilli chicken and chicken masala and visually both were same and not authentic. The curry was overloaded and not flavoured. Paneer Tikka which is supposed to come from a clay oven looked like fried and had no capsicums/Onions to come along which they are supposed to. Coming back to the speed, it seems the dishes are all pre cooked and just heated up before serving. The only dish that saved the dinner a bit was the tandoori chicken. A no go if you are after authentic taste.

Indian is not my favourite but it was tonight, the best Indian meal I have ever had.
Would highly recommend this restaurant, I just wish it wasn’t 3 hrs away but will be back next time in Halls Gap.

Well, an honest review after spending a delightful time at the restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, the food is delicious especially Butter Chicken and, the hospitality was great. Now, I can say why Spirit of Punjab is one of the finest Indian Restaurant in Victoria.

Best Indian ever. Flavours were deep and rich, serving sizes were generous. A gem in Halls Gap. No wonder every table was taken.

As the only indian restaurant in Halls Gap, I appreciate what I see is what I get. But not having biriyani is like missing noodles in a Chinese restaurant. Ordered Lamb Rogan Josh and a plate of Garlic Naan for my family of three, and the flavour was average but filling. The service was very fast and the environment was comfortable with the place being almost full.
Would I go back in my next trip to Halls Gap, probably not for a while. Again, I reiterate my opening line.

Went there over the weekend. Food was pretty good but not amazing. Was very packed there which is usually a good sign. I'd say 3.5 stars out of 5 as it was pretty good but have had better. I think for the spot it's in, it's decent

Food is okay ordered some vegan dishes not much taste, ordered was ready in 15min so definitely not fresh except bread in oven. I know it's holiday place but over rated price comparison to taste what U after.

We enjoyed a beautiful autumn day in the outdoor seated area. Quite a magical vista. Lovely lunch too. We enjoyed Garlic chilli chicken and Palak Paneer with saffron rice and Roti followed by masala tea.

Food was simply amazing. Service was prompt, friendly and lived up to all my expectations. Easily the best Indian food I’ve had in years. Want a great meal, friendly service and excellent food then look no further.

One of hidden gems in Grampians. Great food and nice ambiance. Wonderful setup. Food was way better than some of the so called best places in Melbourne. Serving staff was really friendly. Keep going the way you are with your service and food.
