RUN AS SPEEDY AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM Speedy Shower Screens. Worst customer service I have ever had! 3 month installation time. Lessons in Customer Service would be VERY helpful –
For example,
Don’t return calls – 1 excuse was all staff were at a showroom installation then at lunch. No return call after lunch. Nice pic on Facebook though.
Twice, different matters and different staff “I’ll look into it” but no answers.
Was told time delays were because of Covid and since they have moved office they find it hard to get staff to the Eastern Suburbs.
One call I was asking for Management and couldn’t get past the Office Manager even after 3 requests.
In another call I had to say I didn’t want to speak to the Office Manager I wanted Management. Don’t remember who I spoke to. I waited so long that I said, “you must have been reading my file”. He said “no”, I asked why I was on hold for 6 min then. “Oh, I read a bit. ”
Had a leaking brand-new installation TWICE - see attached
Invoice changes between dates. They took out the original trade discount for inconvenience and replaced it with cheaper unit prices, but the total was still the same – see attached
When the Operations Manager came to fix the second leak; he would not agree the invoice looked dodgy and said prices must have gone up and that covered the price increase.
Final booking for shower installation/fix up was Friday 29th April. Appointment booked for Friday 29th between 1.30 – 2.00. In two weeks’ time as I was away for 1 week.
I was TOTALLY over it and exasperated with this company.
Wednesday before the final visit, I get a call about the job payment and that is when I explained impatiently that the job hasn’t been finished yet and she said I am only trying to help you. I was so annoyed that I had to tell her I already had an appointment booked and when it was. I did this and hung up. To my absolute surprise she phoned me straight back to ask if had I hung up on her. I said yes and she proceeds to tell me I’m rude, she was only trying to help and that I am rude again, then she hung up - (pity she didn’t look at my file before calling)
Thursday before the final visit, received voicemail message chasing payment (must have gone into 90 days). Text replies start – I just couldn’t talk to them anymore.
I reply the job isn’t even finished yet.
Reply was “Can you confirm what needs to be done? As we will re-book it.
OMG!
Me - Really? Tony has been booked and confirmed 8 minutes after your message. This booking has been in your system for a couple of weeks.
Reply text – “No problems, I was asking so I could rectify the problem and get it fixed for you! Sorry for that, my mistake, have a nice night. ”
I read the above as very sarcastic as I had already been called rude by another office staff member and still had the same booking for the next day!
Tony finalised the shower and it works well – thanks Tony!
Monday 2nd May – call to chase money. I have waited 3 months for a working shower and they want payment prior and next working day.

Tried to contact them about a show screen repair. Left a message first time, no follow up. Second time my wife called and they asked us to send photos, then no follow up. Called again, they "found" the photos in their discard folder.but said now that they had them they'd call back 8: 30 the next morning.they never called. Don't waste your time with these people.

Exhausting company to deal with. Receptionist books jobs that no one turns up for - when you chase them up, the receptionist informs you that the person allocated your job has suffered some sort of sudden injury or illness and the job needs to be rebooked (again and again and again). I think she needs to keep a log of excuses for each client as I honestly don’t think she realised how many times she’s told me about the “sudden” issue that’s cropped up. I’m sure there’s lots getting the run around like me. Ended up going elsewhere. Nice enough on phone but not very honest and upfront as I definitely got the impression my job was being endlessly bumped. If it’s a small job (like a one-off shower screen) that you want done soonish go elsewhere as these guys don’t seem to need those jobs. They take the job but don’t deliver when better jobs go their way.

Very unhappy customer. Had them installed the first shower screen 5 years ago then it falled apart. Asked for repair but they told me to install a new one then it costed more than the first one. Booked the job in without taking the original shower screen away but they took the first shower screen away then charged me for that. Had to get through long argument with them for that.

Made an appointment for check measure and installation of shower screen. None turned up at the agreed time. Had to ring the company and after apology we reschedud for the afternoon. Again no one showed off. Rang again just to be told that I have to wait 30 more minutes. Just cancel please. We live in different suburb and twice I drove all the way back and forth on vain. Will go to Reece.

Job was "to hard" didn't bother to contact the project manager to tell them they wernt interested! Instead just did nothing an stuffed the clients around which has delayed there hand over!

The person who came to install it was very polite and professional. He did a great job. Very happy customer in that area. However, the female receptionist is very rude and unprofessional.

It all started with Kiara, she’s a delight to talk to. Answered all my annoying questions. The whole process - measuring, quote and installing my shower screen were all done by competent installers. Very pleased with the result! Thank you guys!

Have been trying to get the handle reattached to the shower door for a long time but kept getting told I would have to replace the whole shower screen. Called Speedy and they were confident they could fix it. And true to their word, they came out a few days later, fixed it and gave it a bit of a service. Every one was super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend them)

I had Danny measure our ensuite for a new advantage shower screen and large bathroom mirror. He was excellent to communicate with my quotes and installation was quickly organised by Kiara Tri installed the shower screen what an experienced tradesman a pleasure to deal with. Mick and Nigel installed the mirror with ease what a fantastic pair I’m still laughing.great company ang great staff.

Brilliant from start to finish and I would highly recommend! They were speedy in their reply via a Facebook message query, Evan from the team called me and helped discuss my needs based on photos I’d sent. They offered to repair or replace my current shower screen. On the day, there was good communication about arrival time. Bomber and Emir were both friendly and worked promptly. They advised that they could easily repair the sliding door screen which saved me money for not having to replace the entire screen. It’s now working beautifully. I’m very impressed with the communication before/during/after the repair date and with the job done. Thanks speedy!
