Spaghetti Tree reviews
71Love this place. The food is excellent and wait staff are friendly. I recommend the Pasta Al Primavera. And what a perfect name for a restaurant! It’s spacious and the food is served quickly so it’s a good restaurant for families. Thank you!
I had perfect dinner with my partner with delicious hearty italian meal and closed with amazing home made tiramisu. Just made our date night Definitely will come back
Had delicious well priced meals, great atmosphere and huge space. Staff were kind. Helpful and overall amazing. Will be back
Service was very friendly and professional.
Dishes were superb!
Excellent pasta and didn't overwhelmed you at all.
Very enjoyable and will definitely return.
A restaurant that has stood the test of time. Eclectic decour with friendly service.
The menu is traditional Italian.
This is a charming restaurant in a handy location in the CBD. There is an extensive menu although some items are a bit pricey. We received very good personalised service and were not charged any surcharges (on a Sunday)
I’ve always walked past this place ever since I was little (many decades ago) but never tried it till recently. The service was good, the place was nostalgic and looks like it hasn’t changed in forever, we didn’t have a booking and was seated promptly. The food itself was very much your standard La Porchetta or Firenze reception centre style fare minus the pizzas. I didn’t hate it, it was lacking but not bad. I was expecting home made pasta especially from an establishment where the menu is solely pasta and a few usual suspects in mains & desserts. I think I would have appreciated it in the 80’s. The female toilets were a mess and smelled like a urinal. Tried once, once only unfortunately.
Don't eat here. My son got horrific food poisoning from this restaurant. No phone call back from the owner, no acknowledgement. They did admit the sauce was not made fresh and was reheated. Terrible service and I reported to the Melbourne council.
It's a little squishy. Female toilets are a bit dark and eerie. Food was nice but a bit over priced. The staff were great and quick to get food out.
A little less intimate than we were expecting but we enjoyed the food, the service and staff was excellent. We also enjoyed the live music from the multi talented maestro of so many different instruments- amazing!
Food was absolutely fantastic for a great price. Service also fantastic! Enjoyed the atmosphere and vibes of the restaurant!
Delicious, well priced food every time I've been. I'm so greatful to this restaurant for assisting my parents and I last night as we were running late for the Harry Potter play and only had about 30 mins to order and eat our food. I didn't think we'd be able to do it in time but our lasagnes came out less than 10 mins after ordering! We were all impressed and couldn't stop talking about how delicious the lasagne was. Thanks for saving our night!?
We had the best lasagne we have ever had, absolutely delicious, staff were professional, fantastic, a lovely environment, will definitely be back and bring more friends
Such a great find for a superb Italian. Top notch marinara, very generous with seafood. Dessert well, yep had to find the extra stomach!
Such a staple of the top end of Bourke. I remember my parents taking me to the Spaghetti Tree when I was young, so I took my kids this evening for my own trip down memory lane. The staff were friendly and attentive, food was quick and tasty and the ambiance as warm as I remembered. They accommodated allergies with ease also. It was a pleasure to be back
This place is reservations only.
The design and decoration made me feel like a tourist.
Customer service was good.
Had the Spaghetti Prawns and Leek from the special pasta menu: hint of chilli it says, I can handle my spice but that was beyond "a hint" - Couldn't taste any alluring flavours but the unnecessary chilli level.
The calamari was alright.
Tiramisu dessert was limited but it's definitely well done, totally recommended.
My favourite carbonara in Melbourne. And the setting and atmosphere of this place makes me feel like I'm in Europe. Wonderful venue I hope to return to soon.
A very nice restaurant that gives off a close family feeling even though being an unexpectedly large place. Very well decorated for its theme, the portions are very large and taste pretty good, I could only fault them on their restrooms which need an update, but besides that it’s very well established restaurant!
The cocktails were little disappointing but the food is fantastic. Especially these garlic prawns with rice tasted amazing.
Very polite attentive service. Nice ambience. Food OK and plentiful but nothing special. Pasta (ravioli) dish drowned in sauce so you couldn’t taste any ingredients apart from tomato.
