Horrible place. Do put a note on your website saying that you don't want to deal with any new or even remotely unhealthy patients and save them an exhausting and humiliating experience of trying to book an appointment with you.

Disappointing. Was inquiring about a vaccination, however the reception staff member was quite blunt, dismissive and unprofessional. After thanking them for the call, they replied “well is that it? ” Would recommend a different clinic that has good customer service, and won’t act as if you’re a burden for inquiring about their healthcare services.

Have been attending this medical centre for years now and the team are caring, thorough and experienced. Even when seeing different GPs in the practice besides my usual GP, they are consistently comprehensive. Happy to have them as my go to family Medical Centre.

The receptionists aren't great, i've never had a good experience here at reception. But i'm rating 5 stars because Doctor Enten is incredible. I'm lucky I met him. He genuinely has saved my life.

I just couldn't speak of someone highly enough. I've dealt with a lot of doctors in both the public and private system, i've never had one as great as Dr Enten.

I don't think I could trust my health in someone else's hands ever again.

I should have known better. You have to wonder why you can get an appointment at such short notice when every other clinic is booked out. The one other client there (who clearly puts up with the hostile reception because she likes her physiotherapist) said “ it’s always like this here” referring to the receptionist. At first I felt for the receptionist because I’m a health care professional too but in retrospect the receptionist was just plain rude and unhelpful. Dr Enten lacks empathy and seems more concerned about consoling himself for working in a B grade practice. My dad recently passed away and Dr E was more concerned with validating himself by talking about the risk factors causing my father’s death… even spouting the few facts he remembered from medical school. I went there for an ear infection ffs. He was happy to give me career advice and yet I had to ask him to take my temperature. He should probably consider a career change ‘ before it’s too late’.

I have been seeing Dr. Enten for approximately 25 years. He has always been very friendly and helpful I'm happy to continue seeing him.all the way down from Berwick to see him excellent care is worth it.

I have been going to Dr Bachelor now for 12yrs and I think she is one of the best General practitioners I've ever had, she is thorough, friendly and fights for results for her patients! I am a little disappointed with some of the reception staff of late. I feel June and one other older woman with glasses short greyish hair are absolutely the type of receptionists every practice should have unfortunately a couple of the other reception staff need to take a look at if they should be doing this job, as they don't have a friendly or understanding ethicate.

Dr. Andrew Hewett has been providing exceptional care for us for the past 2 years. Highly recommend Dr. Hewett.

Slow unpleasant staff, Dr late to all of our booked appointments, very expensive rates, NOT located in Southland at all, despite the name implying that it is.

Reception & the dr's are all wonderful. They've truly had my back in some extremely difficult times. I'm eternally grateful to have a solid supportive network with this Medical Centre. They're family. Xox

Appointment at 10.15am, still.sitting around with my 9 year old daughter 45 minutes later. People arriving after us getting called before us. Clearly the administration does not handle the process well enough. Frustrating.

Dr Bergman is the best doctor ever! He is so thorough and brilliant! I have been seeing doctor Bergman for approximately 8 years and he has always been very patient and spot on with his diagnosis. I am truely blessed to have found a doctor that is a real caring doctor! Thank you doctor Bergman

This surgery is pathetic. Most of the doctors are rude and judgemental. Dr Bergman is incompetent and makes you wait for half an hour at least to see him. He then stuffs around wasting your time to make sure he gets paid for a long consultation. Receptionist can be rude depending on the day.

I met Doctor Who. He diagnoses were all wrong. Bronchitis for chest infections, but it was influenza.
None of the antibiotics worked. He prescribed Trip rim for a bladder infection. I told him the pathology report said no trip rim, but keflex is the preferred antibiotic. He gave me a really bad referral. I ended up in a hell hole. His bedside manner is abrupt and careless. Examinations lack detail required to diagnose. I am no longer a patient there.

I am no longer a patient there. A couple of visits ago, my doctor insisted I was diabetic. He would`nt believe me when I said I wasn`t, he only backed down when he checked his notes. All the doctors there are obsessed with pill taking. One of them was rude to my mother who also does n`t go there anymore.

Don't waste your time. The most unhelpful doctors I have ever encountered. There's a reason why places like this bulk bill.

Do you self a favour, either find another clinic or pay the $30 difference and see a private doctor.

You get what you pay for.
