We finally visited soul soul cafe. Cozy hidden gem serving Asian Fusion brunch dishes. Brunch kicks off the weekend in style at soul soul cafe.there was face painting and balloon artist on the day we went.very enjoyable brunch session.

We had:
- Yakiniku Benny
- Chicken Waffle
- Seafood Soba
- Special Coconut Latte
- Yuzu Coldbrew
- Cheesy Macchiato Latte

Soulsoul is a brunch spot that's semi hidden near Vic Market.

Interior of soulsoul is good and has plenty of seating to accommodate a party of two to a bigger party no problem at all.

Had the soft shell crab slider and the yakiniku Benny with the call me daisy and the cheese macchiato latte.

Before diving into the food I do got to give kudos to the kitchen and staff are really nice and will accomodate your request. For example I wanted to sub my milk for coconut milk and extra Mayo and was accommodated for.

The latte with the coconut milk and Carmel was nice and the highlight of the meal. The coffee hit was there but with the coconut milk and caramel was a creamy drink with a hint of sweetness and also savouryness from the foam.

I find it a bit disingenuous though that the menu states "fresh squeeze orange juice" when they're just golden circle OJ and it just overpowered everything. You can't really taste the matcha and it felt like just a cup of expensive OJ.

The crab slider was crispy with a good tang and sauce, bao was soft and the ingredients complimented each other. The yakiniku had perfect runny eggs with a crispy fritter however it's just okay? There isn't anything bad but nothing good about it was well.

Overall its okay, the food is okay and on the pricer side expecting a bit more but the service and staff deserve a praise for their friendliness. Saying that it isn't a bad spot to catch up with people due to its spacious interior.

Food doesn’t worth the price and the waitress even made mistake of the orders. She served my drink to another table and I finally got my drink when I almost finish my mealI can’t believe I spent $35 for an experience like this.

Absolutely loved everything about Soul Soul! I tried their new menu releases today and the chilli crab scramble was amazing - definitely coming back here to try more of their dishes! Of the drinks the new call me daisy was such a fresh take on your usual matcha drink. I could not get enough of it

A little cheaper than most fusion cafes which is very appreciated great food portions and presentations and a good blend of fusion food! The chicken waffle had a delicious Korean (?) chilli sauce and you could pour in your own soup with the udon dish, very authentic!

On 19 February we had a brunch at Soul Soul located in 158 Victoria St and we got:

The food was delicious, the soba was nicely refreshing for the sunny day we had and the fried chicken & waffle was perfect

Everything is grate. Except hot cake. The hot cakes are dry but overall the food are nice. The grill vegetables are the best. ️

Great coffee and service! Although they did not have truffle chip on menu. Hope they will bring back to their menu

My partner and I had the banana bread and bacon & egg “toastie”. Banana bread was dry and cold (even though they offered to toast it for me). The toastie was awful! Cold and stale bread. Perhaps they need to upgrade their toaster?

The food was excellent with large portions, and the coffee was great too. The decor wasn’t anything special but was still nice.

Fantastic food with a clean space and a fun vibe. Food was a little pricey but very worth it. Not worth giving it less than five stars for.
Great location and lots of options on the menu. Will try to come back in future.

Limited variety, sterile vibe and, probably most importantly, a very overpriced menu considering what you get.

While good food I believe I left my keys to my car there - have tried ringing their phone line for 2 days many times no response and also no response to email requesting them to check lost property - please help your customers if they lose something at your restaurant

We come back there to eat but the taste is not like beginning open anymore. I remember the taste last time that we come. Hopefully the restaurant not change the chef.

I love the decor & ambience. Great coffee. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Covidsafe cafe.
Highly recommend to try their lobster congee!

Decent coffee, lobster porridge are awesome, signature chilli egg scrambles are super crunchy but not much flavour

Great brunch options!
Loved the fried mushrooms so ordered it twice and signature mocktail and smoothie was extremely refreshing for a hot summer day
