Saw this place on tiktok and wanted to give it a try myself, and I was incredibly happy. Not only was the service amazing and the staff were all smiling and happy to assist but the food was great too. Being all you can eat, it's not the freshest cuts of meat but still amazing. The corn cheese was amazing. The squid, prawn and beef brisket were fantastic. Definitely recommend going!

I believe the rule that for every 100g of uneaten meat, $15 will be charged, is very unreasonable. Especially when the meat is not so tasty. In particular, the flavour of the bulgogi was awful but we forced ourselves to finish it to avoid getting charged at least $15. Besides that, the other cuts of meat were decent, but not amazing. Kimchi stew was below average. I would not recommend.

Worst customer service. We came to ask for a table for 2 they said that they have a booking but if those booking doesn’t come in 10 minutes they will let us in. Then we get seated at 7: 10 pm.and get first plate came approx. 7: 23 pm (time shows in the pics I took). They are buffet all you can eat for 1.5 hr. But at 8: 00 pm (not even 1 hour yet) they told us to finish food in 10 minutes because they have next booking. But why we have to? When it’s not our fault, it’s their fault because they didn’t manage the booking. We have to pay full price for approx 50 minutes only to eat.

The perfect spot for winter dinners, say yes to AYCE Korean BBQ at @matzipkbbq. Recently opened a block away from Vic Markets we dropped by for a weeknight dinner, and ordered a feast.
.
The offer is $32.90 on weekdays and $34.90 on Fri/Sat for a soup to share and all the meats **reccomend** or there's a list of 10 to choose from. 90min seating.
.
But first side dishes, so many! Among them was the essential kim chi, fishcake (love this one), pickled radish/cauliflower/onions, lettuce and spring onions. Everyone also got their own dipping sauce plates, sesame and samyang (a hot sauce).
.
Crispy fried chicken and corn cheese were among the first to arrive and crowd pleasers.
.
With three soup options, we chose the spicy kimchi tofu and safer choice, soy bean paste to share. Hearty and full of flavour it was the perfect starter to warm us up.
.
We all took turns cooking, discussing if we thought it was ready and reminders to only use the sissors with cooked meats and not to touch raw and cooked good food, good times. There was a range of meats and something for everyone from pork belly to soy maryland (chicken), marinated and not marinated meats too. Marinated cuts seem to rare at other korean bbq places.
.
Grab the crew and book a table, we can't wait to return as I'm certain we spend way more than $35pp usually. Thanks for dinner @matzipkbbq

. @matzipkbbq West Melb (closer than you think, Tram 58 from Elizabeth St to stop 9 Peel St).

Their marinated pork belly was on point! Loved it it went well with the soybean soup I tried hehe. Just be mindful though you may need to wait outside for a bit. They are often very busyy.: (

Their sides are great too! Alot of variety. My favourite was the corn cheese. Will come back again:)

Staff was very friendly and attentive.

However, food wasn't that nice. Not one item in the menu tasted good.

Sitting time was short, only 1.5 hr. Other Korean BBQs allow at least 2 hrs.

Overall, not worth the price. Must avoid!

He best of all you can eat Korean BBQ @matzipkbbq is the place to be this weekend. Where quality meets perfection and taste above everything else. And not to mention their highly affordable price of All You Can Eat Buffet is set at only 34.90 on weekends and 32.90 on weekdays.

First, we need to select a soup, and we chose the Kimchi tofu and the soy bean paste.

Then the buffet starts with corn cheese and fried chicken, followed by so many sides like kimchi, pickled cauliflowers, fish cakes, salad, lettuce, three types of dipping sauces.

Next the grill is set and the meats keep coming, ranging from, pork belly, soy maryland fillet, beef belly, beef brisket and chicken fillet. The fun of grilling the meats is really fantastic and something worth experiencing.

The meats taste even more delicious, combined with the soups. A completely comforting meal it turns to.

The meat quality is premium and taste wise, its absolutely juicy, tender and yummilicious. The soups are equally irresistible and absolutely flavorsome.

Moreover, their service is super quick, with a great ambiance and spacious seating area both indoor and outdoor. The team of staff are immensely helpful and kind enough to guide you through the entire process and always keeping an eye to make sure, you don't burn or overcook the meats.
Honestly you won't find another budget friendly K-BBQ place anywhere in the city where taste, quality and quantity precedes all.
So make a reservation for this weekend @matzipkbbq and lose yourself in the myriad flavors and juiciness of grilled meats and satisfying soups

Amazing service! Meats were of high quality and marinated chicken and pork were very tasty. Very cheap for all you can eat.

Also, to one of the staffs who helped us cook the meats, thank you for helping!

This is one of the best all you can eat places I have been in, it costs 30 bux and you get unlimited meat platters of pork, chicken and beef. All the meat tastes fresh and they are fast with bringing it out. The Kimchi with rice is very great, everyone should get it if they go there. The fried chicken is also a nice treat. Overall a great place to be and a nice atmosphere.

The service was great. Food just kept coming! Meat were so good and fresh! We were full in just Set 1 in an hour, we still had another hour to have but definitely super full already, its affordable considering that much food you will be served! Recommended for the korean barbeque lovers!

This place is the absolute best! Best quality of food for an all-you-can-eat bbq. The owner is super friendly and the staff are all generally nice. There’s paid parking around the area but it’s so worth it:)

Had the AYCE Korean BBQ. Quality of meat was fantastic with free refills of the banchan as well. I've eaten a lot of KBBQ in Melbourne and the price and value for money was great. Staff were also very friendly and helpful and changed the grill several times without asking and were regularly checking on the temperature of the grill or asking us if we needed anything else.

AYCE Korean BBQ! 2 hours to eat as much as you can. I was so full it hurt!

You need to book and starve yourself on the day so you are extra hungry!

A nice, small, cozy place for group catchups. Great customer service, great food. Tried the all-you-can-eat menu which was quite good with a variety of meat and side dishes. It was also a 2-hour session which was sufficient.
