My favourite kbbq in Melbourne. Great for a big feed. On the more expensive side, but prices are fair given what you get in return!

Good food and great value for refillable meat option, which comes with corn cheese, chicken wings and a soup for under $40 on a weekday. We were very full by the end of our visit. Spicy pork belly was the best thing on the menu. They also had Cass beer

We are always on the look for great Kbbq places where we can take a group of friends out to dinner. Look no further than Kbbq.
The owner and staff were sooo nice and the service was super quick! The food is proper quality and you can’t go wrong for all you can eat.

The restaurant, once known for its best-in-class service, has experienced a decline in recent times. While the service remains exceptional, the overall atmosphere and food quality have noticeably degraded. The once comfortable chairs have been replaced with less comfortable ones, and both the outdoor and indoor dining areas have become increasingly dirty and unkempt. It is disheartening to see that the restaurant is not living up to its name, as portrayed in their Instagram posts. The disparity between the glamorous images on social media and the actual dining experience is quite evident.

Such a great place for an amazing AYCE KBBQ! The meat was fresh and had a wide variety to choose from and you also get a soup, cheese corn and crispy fried chicken wings! My fave was the spicy pork belly

On top of the great food, the service and atmosphere was also great! They came and changed the grill a few times, so it was always clean!

If you're looking for a great AYCE, I highly recommend

A small selection of meat but everything tasted as expected. $42.5 per person is reasonable pricing. 1.5 hours does go by quick when you’re cooking the thick pieces of meat and you may not fulfil the hunger of your larger group within that time frame.

On my recent experience with my partner, the gas bottle exploded and let off a loud bang, sending the lid of the bbq flying. This does present a safety hazard but mistakes do happen. It would have been nice if the manager gave us something to make up for the inconvenience, such as a drink.

Order all the meats and they bring it out slowly to allow you to cook and eat.

Go-to Korean bbq in Melbourne. Good quality meat, great sides and comparably good prices. Pork belly was honestly the freshest I’ve had in Melbourne - as good as Korea! And fried chicken is so good I always wish I could do takeaway.

You get unlimited beef, chicken, pork, prawn, squid, side dishes, plus fried chicken, corn cheese and a choice of soup. You'll definitely satisfied and full afterwards.

My fave was their kimchi tofu soup with pork belly It's so good Their beef brisket and prawn was also amazing. I highly recommend trying it.

I was excited about this place as it is just around where I live. However, even for the “lower” price, I can’t make myself visit Matzip again. First, there was only one AC in this whole restaurant which made it super hot and sweaty eating there. Second, there is no ventilation at all. They simply left the door open. With the lack of AC, you’ll just be eating in a stuffy, oily, and smoky room. Third, the quality of the meat and side-dishes were poor. Options were limited and I couldn’t continue eating them after the first round. I understand it is hard to run a small and all you can eat restaurant. But also, I know I can’t recommend people to have their meal here. Hope it gets better.

This is a great little all you can eat K bbq place. Meat was really nice (especially the beef bulgogi) and the staff were very accommodating and generous portions provided. Will be back

Misleading time allocation, it should be called Speed BBQ rather than all you can eat. It says 1.5hr however u get food only 20mins later and they will kick u off right at 1.5hr mark. The owner is extremely rude. Friend of mine arrive and ask about the booking and was told there is nothing and turned him away. Don’t bother to come here there are many better places with much friendlier people. Koreans are usually happy but not this establishment

Very disappointed. Limited to 1.5hrs eating time only. Took them a while to serve the meat. Have to keep asking them where our orders were.

The worst Korean bbq I have been. Basically the whole process make me feel like I got scammed. “All you can eat it” just doesn’t make sense, they bring out the food so late, and when it is out the quantity is so little. They only able to brought us the meat for 2 times only for the whole session considering we made multiple orders. They did not tell us what going on, we didn’t able to sit for whole session which is 1h30; they was trying to get us out by many way. Meat quality, not worth the price!

Lovely hidden gem. Restaurant gets quite busy, but be prepared to wait outside until your table is ready. Once you are seated very speedy service, heaps of good quality meat and very friendly staff. Prices are very cheap for the quality of food and amount you can eat.

Only $37.90 (MON-THUR) & $39.90 (FRI-SAT). One of the most affordable korean bbq restaurants I've been to that serves good quality food and service.

They are really generous with their meat and side dishes, so you’ll definitely be full afterwards! We also got some soju and makgeolli to enjoy our delicious kbbq session. They also have an Earlybird session so you can get a further discount - only $32 per person first session 5.30-7.00pm (Mon-Thurs)!

It's good to see a lot of other people getting speedie service. I came on a Saturday night, full house, so I was expecting a little bitnof a slow down on service. But was didssaponted that the had forgotten all the dishes. I had to ask when we would get the meat to start cooking, I had to ask for the chicken after about 40 minutes, where they had then seemed like they hadn tlut the order through. We only got 2 serves of meat and they hadn't brought out the 3rd or 4th plate of meat where we had ordered it. And they forgot the soup and once I realised we never got it they said the kitchens closed and that they didn't put it through.
Service was good but slow and confused too often.
Food quality was great except for the chicken having an odd tasting batter.
