Sooki Lounge

Horrible! Called to make a booking a week prior to then be instructed to book online. Booked online for 6 people, got sent a SMS link 24hrs prior with a link to confirm. Clicked on the link and confirmed the booking. Called Sooki on the day to change the booking from 6 people to 5 people and confirmed, to only arrive at the restaurant that day and they had deleted my booking! Mind you, travelled from over an hour away and it was for a birthday. To then receive horrible customer service by the OWNER and his staff. Tried to blame the situation on me. Worst service I have ever received. No apologies or compensation for their mistake

Loved it. Best ever lounge bar! Went to see Jenna Campbell play guitar. She was fantastic, reminding me a little of Santana.
It was an awesome evening, Comfortable, inviting, friendly, relaxing environment. Food smelled and looked tasty. Best cocktail menu, bar staff knowledge and recommendations of their drinks I have experienced in years! And old school carving of fruit into a rose for my drink made me feel special. Thankyou. Will definately be back.

Just had the Tex Mex Taco meal with cauliflower tacos. Came and collected it take away due to Lockdown. OMG it was THE BOMB. Loved it. Can't wait to come and have another meal with a margarita Great job guys. Best decision I made today. Thanks

Vibrant, dynamic, musically happening place with very good food and a decent wine list. Also cocktails and the Herbicide is my absolute favourite

My son & I went to see Bob Evens & decided to have dinner there while we waited.
Staff were awesome & food was fantastic, definitely a great place to eat at.
Staff couldn't do enough for us will definitely recommend this place to family & friends.

A cosy cabaret style vibe inside with very thoughtful and comfy areas to sit. Good craft beer selection on tap and incredible food. Very good for vegetarians as there are lots of options and the cauliflower tacos were insanely delicious. Would highly reccomend.

The manager did a mate check on me to see if I was okay, and it made me feel the best that I've felt in a while. He, and all of his staff, really care about their patrons and their well-being.
Plus, they have an awesome vibe.
I'd 100% recommend checking out their karaoke night, it's mental.

I discovered this gem on a whim and absolutely love it. They have a vegan accommodating menu with generous selection of yummy dishes and the cocktail/drinks menu has a lot on offer. Their on tap IPA is a must try. After dinner the dance floor opens up and you can burn off those taco calories. Downstairs offers a great hideaway and second bar if you want to sit and chat and or catch your breath from dancing. Highly recommended.

The menu has changed to a more Mexican theme, was looking forward to the all-day breakfast. Nonetheless the food was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Had booked via email and specifically requested a booth. Received a confirmation email, however upon arrival there was no booking at all. Would recommend booking by phone to avoid disappointment.

Great staff, a fantastic space that's awesome for live music and gives support to local artists as well as hosting some big names. Love our local, get around it.

An awesome venue in the heart of Belgrave. So many vegan and vegetarian options available, and every single item we ate was delicious. The service was incredible, thanks so much for an awesome night! Would highly recommend dropping in if you are in the area.

Stumbled across this place by chance.wow are we glad we didn’t walk past it. Blown away by the quality of the food here.the dishes here are outstanding.we had no expectations at all prior just looking for a quick eat but we got way more than that, definitely will come back, great ambience and vibe inside also very relaxed and comfortable.we will come back for sure. And I’ll order that chocolate brownie again also! Nice.

So, we went here for my birthday dinner and drinks and stayed for karaoke. We were served by the lovely Tia (who we found out later was a trainee, but we never would have guessed!), And she served with warmth and hospitality. Food was delicious, we had pulled pork tacos, polenta chips and a chicken burger with kimchi slaw. Everyone who greeted us at our table or who bought us drinks was happy and helpful. The bar was busy and thus drinks took a smidge longer than expected, but when they arrived we were greeted with beautifully presented cocktails, and served with a smile. As the night wore on, we moved inside and set up a tab. Staff were understanding and easy to deal with (no issues with drinks being made), and we enjoyed watching karaoke. The karaoke staff were lovely and warm, asking us to join (which we declined) and they continued on their night dancing and helping build the atmosphere.
All in all I can 100% recommend heading to Sooki lounge for a great meal, and if you so choose some delicious cocktails. Hats off to Tia who took every request in her stride, and made an effort to make us feel welcome and at home, she is a warm and welcoming young lady with a great pizzazz.
Highly recommended the whole venue, drinks, food, staff and entertainment.

Great food and drink.
The service can be a little slow at busy times but best to avoid the Friday and Saturday late nights anyway, unless that's your thing!

Funky and eclectic place. Menu was a little limited, and the service after we received our meals average. But worth a visit.

A Belgrave highlight.
We had seen that there was a big crowd for dinner Saturday night and thought we should check it out in the morning. This place did not disappoint. Food was delicious, servers were very welcoming and genuine and the atmosphere of the place speaks for itself.

Really dissapointed with the way I was spoken to last Saturday evening by the manager. Only wanted to find out about a particular dish with dietary requirements. Was also rude to my partner, and put the phone down on her. Totally unnecessary.

We rocked up late on Saturday night and got a nice table for 2. The food was great, we had the salmon from the specials and the zuchinni noodles. Both were demolished, the service was great, and the water that they brought to our table was cold. Which is the best water. We loved our waitress', but one in particular, she was happy and bouncy and it was a bit nice. The dinner music man was smooth and once dinner was done they moved the tables and the real night begun. Thanks for a great night.
