Smokin joes Pizza & Grill Richmond

After giving directions for where the food needed to be dropped off, the driver called and refused to get out of the car to bring it to where I was staying. I had to come all the way out to the car. This is all after the delivery being an hour late and the food not very warm. On top of that, I was given the incorrect ice-cream.

The BEST pizzas I have ate in 25 years. True Italian style. More toppings than you can believe. Extremely generous. Friendly staff. Very clean shop. Only a 10 minute wait. I will never go to dominos again! Supreme pizza. The Hawaiian has more ham than I have ever seen on a pizza. 10/10 Addictive pizza.

I’ve come here a few times and the pizza has usually been pretty good. I feel now that the quality has slipped. Canned mushrooms, and not very fresh toppings make for a very bland pizza. The only one that tasted okay was the Americana. The supreme was bad.

Reception and all service staff were very helpful and cordial. Our beachfront room on the third floor had a balcony and a great view of the pool area, the ocean, and sunrise- magnificent. Food in the tavern for dinner and breakfast was good. Especially liked the lowcountry shrimp and grits. They surprised my husband with a slice of chocolate cake with "Happy Birthday" written on the plate when we casually mentioned that it was his birthday!

Ordered nearly $30 worth of food from this business through Menulog and the food never turned up even after 3hrs of waiting for the restaurants own delivery driver only to be told that it was delivered and to check outside (which I did twice and there was nothing there).

I was offered a refund by the owner which I said I would accept but ended up receiving nothing, I offered to accept delivery of the order the following night instead only to be told to call the owner back in 2hrs because he was busy, I tried calling him again and have been unable to get in contact with him.

My money has been stolen and I am extremely annoyed

Your pizza is great! My family enjoyed the food so much, we want to order again from you guys. We liked the lamb ribs and the marinara pizza. We’ll definitely go back again.

Terrible restaurant. Order was late and arrived freezing cold. On reporting this to Menulog, they blatantly lied and advised that they were waiting outside my address “for ages” and tried calling multiple times. Complete lie as I was waiting outside my property for them to arrive. Avoid this place at all costs, better and more professional restaurants in the area.

Thought I'd give these guys a shot being a new business in the area.

Second time ordering from them and I can say that their customer service is top notch!

Yesterday I tried Smokin' Joy's mouth watering peri peri chicken and cheesy nachos and both of them were absolutely superb. They have a very unique style of chips and their seasoning is original and delicious. I highly recommend trying their dishes!

Asked for the custom Family size Vegetation pizza. The flavours are awesome. The guy who took the order over the phone was very patient in listening to our requirements for custom toppings and they served exactly as per our instructions. The kiddo loved their garlic and cheese pizza.

Best pizzas in town run by great people and friendly staff. The pizzas are that good, you say to yourself I’ll only have a couple slices and leave some for tomorrow, but can’t stop and eat half a New Yorker lol

OMG, just had chicken and mushroom sauce with chips. Absolutely delicious, fresh, hot, and taste - amazing food. Well done Smoking Joe.

The best pizza in Richmond hands down. They all come and go but these blokes live to make people happy. The pizzas and grill packs are scrumptious the staff is respectful, hygienic, polite and actually care about what gets put in the box. 5 stars isn't enough to justify the quality of the product these guys present. I've tried every one but smokin joes take the crown of number 1 pizza joint in town

A vegetarian's review: D Tasty and good sized pizzas. Limited options for vegetarian but can definitely be considered if want to try something different from the usual Domino's and Pizza Hut Very friendly and accommodating staff.
