Smith Kebabs

Expensive, small, and just generally poor quality for the price. Surprised such an establishment as Smith St Kebabs could be this disappointing.

Very friendly staff, especially the very very friendly guy who has always a big smile on his face, named Mohamed. He makes the best HSP's of Melbourne.

I’d give it a 0 if it was possible. HSP was cold and poor quality, overpriced rubbish. Obviously the place isn’t meant to be a 5 star dining experience given its target audience is drunks but a little bit of quality and effort into the product you serve wouldn’t go astray. Don’t bother here, go to the kebab shop across the road.

I went in at 1300 on Sunday the 19th Jun and the person behind the counter spent more time on their video chat that interacting with me as the customer.

Chips were undercooked and soggy.

Worst HSP ever. I ordered my food from Deliveroo and they send me uncooked meat. I become sick after their HSP. Who is responsible if someone will have really bad impact from this. Please never buy from this shop. This will make you sick as they just to make their order it does not matter to them whether it is cooked or out.

Need to clean up! Staff didn’t care that the floor or outside was full of rubbish! I couldn’t eat from the store, as I’m of the impression of “if the can’t clean the front of house, how can they clean, “back of house “?

The thing is I don’t understand, I do understand you’re busy but that no excuse for the mess! It was so messy there wasn’t a single table free from mess! If you’re so busy, maybe another staff member to clean up the mess would be good. The. That would create clean tables for other customers to dine or even walk in the door.
First impressions last. It was pure filthy. I did ask for a table to be cleaned and was told “to busy” I’d post a few photos but that would put a lot more people off.

Ordered a chicken kebab, waited for 35 minutes just so I could get home and see a falafel kebab! 2 completely different categories! I understand. It was busy, however I hate falafel and I did not want to pay $16 for a kebab that I didn’t even eat! Service lady was very friendly, that’s the only reason this place got 1 star, otherwise it would be none!

I’ve heard such great thing about the kabab shop but I was so disappointed with the burnt, dry kabab I got. Do better.

Horrible service one of the male staff looks sleepy AF talking to himself more than with the customer Using his phone making video or vlogging.make me more awkward.please teach him, he cant snap other videos and stuff without their permission the kebeb was nice but because of worst customer service ive to give this rating thanks.

Kebab was really average. Meat was dry, burnt and took waaaaay to long even though we were the only customers.

The pizzas are really good but the problem are the chips. They are really dry and soggy and abit cold.

The kebab I ordered for $16 no less. Was very light on meat when I ordered mixed and to add to it the lamb was overcooked & too charred. Whilst I appreciated the quick service the quality of the kebab left me feeling that this one wasn't very nice at all - more (not overcooked) meat & less of LOT.

Something for everyone! So many options and everything is halal.
Good healthy options to cater for everyone's diet habits.
On top of that the owner Noa is an absolute champion. He is genuine, humble and down to earth with the biggest warm smile in the world.
I highly recommend you make the time to go see what all the hype is about, I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Over priced food. Quantity and quality doesn't match the price. Won't be going back there again

If I could give a 0.1 rating I would. But it will only let me rate a one start out of five. Worst place to ever get a kebab/hsp. If you like beef jerky this is the place for you, the meat was that burnt I thought I was eating coal on Christmas. Will never come back.

Paid $5 on top for extra meat in my HSP and got served nothing but fries with thin layer of meat. Come on guys be generous with it. Specially if you are done charging extra, on top of that the lady working there was way too rude, like she was doing us a favour. UNACCEPTABLE!

The food was terrible. Lamb was over cooked, hard to chew. She charges $20 for chips and given less chicken. Never gonna come back here. Very disappointed. Had to wait for 45 minutes.

Don't request delivery! Unless you like your patience tested. 1 kebab, 8kms away, 11 calls and 2 hrs later.worst experience yet. Better be advertising for hiring delivery drivers soon.no one likes a cold kebab and a hot can of coke.

Update: food so oily dang you guys really ruined kebabs for me. E for effort, only finished the food as i had the munchies,? Last time i ate while being sad at the same time is getting punished and then being called for food.this was pretty close, only now i used my money too.anyway. STEP UP!

Waited 30 minutes for one kebab and one HSP. Nothing wrong with the kebabs but nothing special.
