Smart Skin Clinics - Moonee Ponds

THE WORST LASER CLINIC IN MELBOURNE! Extremely unprofessional and unreliable with very poor communications to clients.

I had an appt for 3pm which I moved my whole day around to make it there just before 3. I arrived to see they have moved locations without any notice.
I checked my phone to call them and saw they messaged me the address change just minutes before appt at 3pm. I wasted my time driving to Moonee Ponds and ended up missing my appt because no one notified me when they should have.

The time before this occasion, I arrived to my appointment as per the reminder message said Tuesday 6pm. When I got there, they realised that they sent me the wrong day/time in the text reminder and that it was supposed to be the next day, Wednesday 6pm.
I came back 24 hours later + 2 minutes (late) and the only person working (always only 1) said I was late and that I needed to come back in 1 whole hour.

Their policy is if you cancel within 24 hours, you lose your money for the inconvenience. But when they inconvenience you as I have been more than once, you get a lousy "Oops sorry".

Their turnover is very high, each time I go there, there's always a new face. Horrible service.

I did a course of lipofreeze at Smart Skin Moonee Ponds and honestly cannot believe the difference! I have always struggled to shift fat on the back of my arms. I've tried diet, exercise and nothing would work. I did 2 sessions of Lipofreeze and i am so happy with the results. The therapist talked me through everything and did a great consultation. The treatment itself was only 45 minutes and not painfull at all. They even do Zip pay which helps if you wish to by in bundles and their packages are so well priced! So happy with my results would highly reccomend.

Sam was very professional and personable. He was attentive and listened to my concerns, making appropriate recommendations for treatment.

I’ve been coming to Smart Skin for some time now and have to say outside of the staff being so welcoming the clinic itself is beautiful. I was unsure of how best to go about my skin and body concerns but smart skin have gone above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. I have never gotten results so fast! My go to clinic for all things skin and body!

Honestly the best facial experience in town. Smart Skin takes a holistic approach to skincare and has a genuine care for her clients. I cannot fault this salon. If I could rate 6 stars I would

I have been to all Smart Skin Clinic locations, but the best one by far is the Moonee Ponds one. Lia does the most amazing job and I have never had someone as professional and as detailed as her do both my laser and microdermabrasion. She is the reason I keep returning to the clinic and I even recently bought a pack of RF as I was so happy with her service and the time she takes with me. She always makes people feel welcome and this is what customer service should be like. I want to personally thank you Lia, and thanks Smart Skin in Moonee Ponds for such a wonderful experience each time.

Whilst I enjoyed the treatments I received here, I felt like the main intention here is to make the most money out of their clients without genuine care of what they truly need.

I signed up for a Microderm package (4xsession) and 1 Chemical Peel. Half way through my Microderm sessions, my skin was going amazing and they said they wouldn’t suggest I did the peel anymore. I asked if I could convert my Peel to 2 Microderm sessions and pay the gap. They said the only way they could do that is if I bought another bulk package (hmmm.so you can covert money but only if you pay more?)
Okay I thought If I’m going to be doing more Microderm’s I guess this will still work.

Before my final Microderm I called (24 hours in advance) as I had come down with a cold and feeling pretty lousy. I asked If I could move my appointment and she said “yes, but only if you buy another package. I can process the payment over the phone and pretend you came in for your appointment and then we can make a new one for next week”

This is somewhere I would have happily gone once a month for a Micro session however due to their processes and lack of general care, I have decided to find skin treatment elsewhere.

Great service & affordable prices
Have never been disappointed or walked into a dull atmosphere at this place.
Plus I love that HIFU is now available here

I have been getting laser hair removal sessions here over the past six months. I remember being very nervous when beginning but they have made me feel much more relaxed. I’ve been going to this clinic since I was 18. Ive been seeing Anne for over 3 years now and she always looks after me with professional skincare and laser service. I’ve saved a lot of money over the years where I would have to have paid double elsewhere. For consistent service by the same therapist at all my visits I couldn’t ask for more. Thanks guys.
