Small Graces reviews
48This place changed hands a month or two ago. They still do very good coffee, they now have a smaller menu of Thai food, mainly noodles.
It’s been a while since I’ve been to Small Graces and found that it is serving affordable Thai and Asian dishes with coffee to boot!
I’ve gone with the Sweet and Sour Chicken with fried noodles and it was delicious and reasonably priced too. Also had an iced latte which is supplied by the shopfront next door which separates the coffee from the Thai restaurant. You wouldn’t have thought that they’re both the same shop.
The iced latte is great and quite a large serving for the price too, pretty stoked about that!
I do recommend if you want to have some delicious yet affordable Thai but you still want your coffee fix too!
I had to get it about half an hour for only one dish. I don’t mind to wait but the taste is terrible. The noodles are pretty hard to eat. I expected a lot.
I will never go back that cafe.
The price is pretty affordable. I paid around A$ 13.50 for noodles.
Great little place at the back of the main strip. Clean, friendly and yummy food. Service was exceptional! Oh, and super cheap!
Didn't get to try the food as they only have it after 10am. Expect opening to be around 8: 15am on a weekend. Lots of really awesome affordable options, will update my review when I try again!
Small Graces has transformed into a Thai restaurant, and it's a change for the better. The entire menu is now priced at $9.90, and the serving sizes are notably generous. I found the Pad Thai to be particularly satisfying.
They have a Thai menu now, the food was really really tasty and great value.
One of the best pad see ew's I've had in Melbourne.
Hopefully the prices stay affordable
Not quite sure what happened to small graces but the kitchen and shop has been transformed and renovated to a Vietnamese restaurant serving what seems to be lots of Thai menu items for only $9.90! In todays economy this price is very attractive
Portions were decent for the price and everything was cooked to order. Wok hei is actually not bad.the noodles in the pad Thai were not the ones I’ve had in Thailand or in Thai restaurants. The seafood pad see ew and seafood pad Thai were by no means bad for the price - plenty of seafood and prawns but the flavours were lacking the Thai notes.the Thai milk tea was actually pretty good tho. The service waitress was so smiley.
Overall for under $25 I didn’t mind the food! However because it’s not authentic I couldn’t give it 5 stars - definitely a value feed though!
Really good coffee, only got a snack (crossiant) but very good. Would recommend - lovely atmosphere and the staff very friendly!
Great place, one of the most friendliest staff cafe I've been to, exceptional service quality. However, Melbournians appreciate coffee a lot that such latte art cannot be served. Quality control is needed and hopefully it doesn't disappoint others next time️
The food and service here are always top-notch. I don't drink coffee, but friends I went with said it was great. I give 4 stars not 5, because I think it's a bit expensive, especially to add sides. But it's still a great place - I have been multiple times and will be going back again.
Great cafe experience in the heart of Footscray Not a lot of seating, but worth even having to wait. The apple crumble waffle is the BEST for a sweet breakfast, there are plenty of savoury brunch options as well. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Definitely give this place a visit.
This place is a really cosy little cafe!
Coffee here is great. Brunch here is a quite good too, they have great options for vegans however I still needed a side of bacon/mushrooms for more flavour.
Staff were friendly:)
Great waffles! Really nice icecream spot on. Vegan gem that dish.
Service can't be better, the staff were lovely. Coming back again.
Great little cafe, a hidden gem. Fantastic service, coffee and food. The most flavoursome breakfast has left me wanting more and try different menu items
Poached eggs were drenched in vinegar, scrambled eggs where runny, portions were very small and the presentation had no charm.
Stopped by for a quick pick me up late in the day. I just had a coffee and some sweets take away, but the caramel cake from the counter was amazing! Coffee was very good too, and staff were patient and friendly. Very dangerous, having such a yummy afternoon treat so close by!
Absolutely delicious breakfast, bubble and squeak for me, slow cooked beans for Tim. Fancy banana bread looks awesome. Great coffee and tea.
The Columbian Eggs were amazing!
The staff were friendly and accommodated our dietary requirements without hesitation.
We will definitely be back!
