Sloppy Joe's Deli

Finally get to try this shop and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Even though there was quite a crowd when we went there on a weekday, but their truffle shroom is definitely worth it! It’s my favourite out of the many I have tried and very filling. I was surprised that it was enough for 2 pax. Their chicken burger too is quite huge and the chicken was crispy and tasty. Another thing i’d recommend here is their matcha coconut! It was rich, creamy with right level of sweetness and the matcha taste is not strong which is what I like.

Prepare yourself for the amazingness that is the fried chicken sanga at this cafe - must try. The crispy, craggly, seasoned batter envelops juicy, flavour-packed chicken in a soft roll with fresh lettuce, purple cabbage slaw, pickled onion and gochujang mayo. My clear fave of them all and so glad I got to try it. Come early or miss out!

If you're looking for a classic twist sanga, the truffle chook is your go-to with subtle truffle roast chicken salad paired with a refreshing salad and tangy pickles on provolone and focaccia for a lovely springy bite.

The Truffle Melt was our fave last time and is still as good as ever - insta cheese pull on point. Gooey, 3 cheese truffle-infused bite. Fabulous. The sprinkle of salt on top of the sourdough - genius.

One of Melbourne’s best sandwich spots! Their truffle mushroom melt is a must try, and their donuts are amazing too.

11/10 for the gourmet sandwiches. The truffle mushie melt would become one of the best sandwiches I've had in Melbourne with the most epic cheese pull.

We also ordered Mrs Kim's beef sandwich which is also really good!

There are also a large variety of donuts with so many delicious flavours to choose from such as coconut pandan (so yummy and fluffy.)

The staff/barista are very friendly, and can pour really cute latte art which adds a nice touch to an already tasty beverage.

The atmosphere of the deli, is really calm, and great for an early morning place to pick up a coffee, toasty or even to stop by for lunch.

Would highly recommend this place

Good sandwich and loads of filling, for the price you would hope so.

The lunchtime wait of 15 minutes means I won't make it a regular but worth checking out.

Picked up a couple of Truffle Mushroom Melts for lunch - mushrooms cooked well, incredible cheese pull and a good toasty crunch on the bread. Overall a good sandwich, even if sourdough is the devil’s bread.

Got an oat latte and pastrami sandwich. Sooo delicious! They sprinkled some salt on the sandwich which was a nice touch I didn't know I wanted! Can't wait to come back and try the other sangas. The coffee was lovely as well.

I got ordered the pulled pork, there was very little pork in my sandwich it was a rip off, never again, not worth $16,1st time and last time

Truly one of the best toasties in Melbourne. I tried almost half on the menu and all of them are delicious!

The toasties are really good, truffle mushroom is delicious. Obvious care in their product, consistently good & wrapped with care in signature deli paper. Doughnuts are the best ever, how they should be - not mushy undercooked dough like so many. Treat yourself you won’t regret it!

Sloppy Joe's is heaven-sent. Their food is absolutely INSANE. The donuts are something out of this world; massive, fluffy doughy experiences truly better than the best of Melbourne. Their customer service is fantastic! Old fashioned, personalised and caring. Coffee is amazing. I have dreams about this place. Excellent value for money; hard to find these days. I love you guys!

I have been going here since I moved to Bentleigh about a year ago.

The sandwiches are incredible. I’ve tried most of the sandwiches but the fried chicken sandwich is definitely my favourite. Sloppy tots is my second favourite out of all their savoury stuff.

They also gave us free treat a few times, the staff are super nice and friendly. Love them.

Friendly staff, fantastic (and consistent) coffee, but for me, the stand out…. Hands down… HANDS. DOWN. THE BEST donuts in Melbourne. The dough is exactly how donut dough should be. It doesn’t taste like stale bread with icing on it like most other donut shops. Your dough is out of this world. Please don’t ever change the recipe. Your options for toppings are perfect. The right balance of everything. Your donuts are the sh*t! Keep up the good work!

Good sandwiches, the Reuben was nice and the mushroom was something different, I saw many people trying the friend chicken one, definitely want to try that one next time.

We stumbled across this place while in Bentleigh and we loved it. My partner and I shared. Texan pulled pork sandwich and loaded tots. Both were soo good! I will be returning to try all their other sandwiches
