Slices Family Restaurant

We enjoyed a great lunch party today at slices. Unfortunately we did have a miscommunication with a drinks order, however this was handled exceptionally well by the manager and wait staff. A very enjoyable day!

After many visits to Slices Taylors Lakes I had to jump on today to write a review. Firstly they are so accomodating when it comes to families. My children love it there especially the play area. We always get pizza and pasta and oh my… today it was the best we’ve ever had! Cooked to perfection! Tasty with loads of flavour! (Yes, I also gave compliments to the chef before I left) BIG shout out to Vanya floor manager, who is just so lovely and on the ball with everything when it comes to customer service. THANK YOU SLICES we obviously will be back to our local family restaurant

Made a booking, they had the wrong name and some of the phone numbers given was wrong.
Ordered spaghetti with meat balls, only got one ball.
Ordered penne carbonate, no cream, very dry, no mushrooms etc.
Ordered garlic bread, got no garlic, but burned toast.
Generally food was inferior, with no taste.
Toilets needed attention, as these where disgusting.
Staff that served us, polite, professional.
We won't be going back

It was ok, however our table got cleared while I was watching my daughter on the playground, including unfinished drinks and my daughter's dummy, nothing other than a sorry for the inconvenience. Some staff were really nice though

I have only been here 1 time so I am not sure if the service was a one off. I've did not have a good experience. We were a fairy large group and had ordered entrees and mains. Having selected to have our entrees come out before main on the ordering app everything came together and we actually had no space left on the table.the food just kept coming and coming and the waitress just kept saying sorry as she was dropping off mains before entrees, it was madness haha. Anyway people who ordered pizza were happy but the gnocci was hard and rubbery and the minestrone was extremely bland, really tasteless. Function room looked great and playgrounds were a hit with the kids. Most likely wouldn't go back here but if we did, it would be strictly for pizza and only 1 course not 3.

Amazing! I ordered over the phone and picked up. Everything was still hot, and the food was fresh. We got chips, bolognese, carbonara, and Nutella crepes. Everything was perfect. Great service too!

Great place to take the kids, food as it should be for a Cafe type restaurant and 2 playgrounds to keep the kids occupied and happy!

Service was great in the function room. Generous serves of food, tasty and an awesome play area undercover for the kids.

It was a great night with family and friends. The food was great and service very prompt. Thanks especially to Josephine whom was very attentive.

Rachel did an amazing service, and Dave as well. Brekkie food and salad are great, giving me and my friend a great dining experience.

Yesterday I had my son's baptism everything was fantastic. The food & service was superb. A mention to Elma for organizing everything so perfect and Olivia was also so lovely & helpful. I recommend anyone to come and have there event here. Great prices & so MUCH food everyone left so full!

We recently booked Slices Keilor to celebrate my daughters 18th family dinner. Arranging the function was easy with the friendly service Elma & Vanya provided. On the night the food was excellent.

We dined there for a birthday and everyone was super impressed with the food, prices and service. Jordan was wonderful! Wish we had a Slices in Torquay. The drive there and back was so worth it.

Great for the family with playground for the kids. And food was amazing I recommend the lamb shank

Dining place is ok. Service is relatively quick. Food is just a notch higher than fastfood, probably because they have many food choices. With almost same price you could find a better food option. Overall, dining experience is good.

I ordered the Grilled Fish and Chips.
It was good. Barramundi was grilled to soft perfection, not overdone.
Fortunately the fat Chips were my fav, crisped; as you can hear the crunch with every bite? I'd try to red meat next time.

The staff were very attentive and checked up on me when they believed I was waiting too long, which was welcoming.

I wasn't sure what to expect but I came on a Sunday morning for the kids play area so my partner and I can eat in peace. We found the food pretty good- the kids were occupied for ages in the kids play area. We ended up taking pizza home to try and wow they were good! A week later we went again at my partners request which is a real compliment as he can be quite fussy.

I had my husbands surprise 30th birthday at Slices. They were accomodating to all of my requests and whatever they couldn't do they would offer a substitution! Not only was the service amazing on the day, everyone raved on about the food, it was delicious. Thanks heaps guys!

We had my niece's baptism meal there and I thought it was brilliant. The food, coffee, atmosphere, staff and of course the company was top notch. I'll be back

Had my sons baptism recently in the function room there. Honestly had the best experience, Elma who was in charge of events was very very helpful and friendly and had great communication in organising the whole event. On the day the food was great and staff friendly. Had a great experience overall.
