Service was great, friendly and polite
Atmosphere is what it is for a family Italian restaurant has a playground for kids which is good but makes it loud.

Food was where this place failed. Antipasto platter was horrid
Lamb salad oily

However it was super busy and maybe this cause kitchen to be sloppy

My partner and i had the lamb shank, plus a side of the salad. The quality was exquisite. Much better than a normal pub meal and slightly cheaper too. Will definately return when in the mood for a solid meal.

I'm a regular customer of your restaurant and can't fault it at times. Play area is a lifesaver having a toddler or when some of our mums group catch up on a weekly basis there with their toddlers.
The lovely gentleman that's always there is very polite and friendly and his service is awesome.

But today was a different level, the poor man was on his own with a jam packed restaurant, he was running around taking orders and trying is absolute best to keep his customers happy, but you can tell the stress he was under. The phone was non stop and he couldn't even answer it. I seen him refuse people to actually dine in.what does that tell you? You have to remember it's school holidays and people are on holidays with their kids.
If you had the one extra person helping out that would of made the difference. Yes a male ended up coming in but it was literally at the end of the craziness.
Put more staff on if you want more clientele. No point in advertising your business if you can't provide the full service.
Once again thankyou to the lovely man that's always there for his great work he does.

First time here today, i had the sea food spaghetti and my kids had margaretti pizza and it was very yummy. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Theres also a play ground there for the kids which is a bonus. Would recommend this place to anyone

We dined in 12 people for a birthday.
We took a cake and candles, which was given to the waiter on arrival.
It was very unorganised, we got our drinks after some time, one of our drinks was missed, which came later.
Meals were good, service was all over the place.we asked for the cake to come out with the candles on it. The waiter came out with cake no candles and plonked it on the table with plates and walked off.
No knife and no candles.

We could have ordered alot more drinks but no waiter came to refill.
Disappointed, won't go back.

Dropped in for breakfast and the coffee was amazing, I'm quite fussy with my order - a Mocha with extra chocolate - it's not an order many get right (which is weird lol) but the coffee was delicious. My toastie was yum and my partners breakfast burger was also good. Will be coming back with the family to try main menu.

Food is always pretty good but very old menu. Went last night to Keilor and wow were they slow when it wasn’t that busy and very forgetful. Had to ask for everything 2, three times. Even had a cake and was just left on the bench and we had to grab it ourselves as they would just go off doing other tasks, right after we would speak to them. Very flustered and no concentration. Not like it used to be years ago.

Really good reliable restaurant. On this particular visit, Mary was so great to deal with. Had a great time to celebrate a birthday, especially with the birthday voucher. They were very attentive to water etc…

Had lunch yesterday with my 4 grandchildren. Lunch was very good, l had the calamari which was a generous serve, could not finish it all. Kids parma and chips was a good size serve too. The pizza l was told by the kids was nice and very cheesy and l was going to try some that night if my grandson did not forget this on the table. The girls loved the burgers. Service was good too. A bit noisy with all the mums and little ones, l think this is a meeting place for them. That was the only down side.

Three stars because the Pancake was tough and the play areas indoor were still a bit cold on a windy day. Otherwise a nice place to hang out with kids and friends.

We came here for my youngest son's 1st birthday (something last minute) Since the move to Taylor's Lakes (for me) my (inlaws family) always ordered from here but never dined in until tonight. 4 (more or less) years later, we made it.
From the moment we walked in to walking out, everything inside was amazing. It wasn't as busy, which was great. There's a kids' play area 1x for the toddlers and 1x for the older kids to play and have fun on? And the food and service were better than I'd hoped for.
Very clean and well planned out with the dining area to the kitchen as well as seeing the kids play through the window. Such a great idea!
We will definitely start dining in more now instead of ordering take away. Thank you Staff food was 10/10.

Went there today for a family breakfast/brunch catch up as one family member was visiting from interstate, 8 adults. First meal was served quickly but then waited around an hour for next lot of meals to come out, one of which was incorrect, so sent back. A few other orders slowly appeared, but after an hour and a half 3 meals still hadn't arrived. After complaining, we were given a refund and complementary coffees, and told our meals were on the way, 10_15mins later still no meals so we walked out.
We watched as 3 other tables received their orders eventhough they arrived long after us.
The front of house were trying their best but obviously there was something terribly wrong with communication in the kitchen.
Will not be going back and definately don't recommend.

We were a group of 8 and had a little bit of a problem with our order had to re order 3 times

The new Slices far exceeded my expectations and lackluster memories of yesteryear. Elegant wood decor and atmosphere for a good night out. The food - coffee, seafood, steak (so soft and melting in the mouth), crêpes - were exceptionally good, quality made with care. Portion sizes are just right. Service was polite and friendly. This is my new local go-to venue.

Good family restaurant. Large menu too choose from and a good kids menu. Meals are quite nice and gen. Staff are efficient and friendly. Overall it's a great family restaurant.

They used deli ham slices on my pizza instead of actual ham like the photo showed, the pizza was flavourless, they forget my mushroom sauce for the 4th time. Was good food a long time ago, has been getting worse and using cheap tasteless ingredient's more and more. It really is horrible now

Went here the other night for dinner with wife. Food was average don't see what's so special about it. The service was ok, too busy so waiters were running around. I don't mean to be mean but the waiter we had was indian and BO smell was extremely strong. Everytime he came by the table we didn't feel like eating anymore. Our son went to play in the playground and I noticed it wasn't clean. Anyone would expect a playground with alot of children should be cleaned regularly. The food was ok but did feel pricey. I probably wouldn't come here again I don't see what's so good about this place.

The food and service was great but OMG, the atmosphere of the live music from INFERNO Duet made the night!

Food was bland and pretty much tasteless apart from one that tasted like they cooked it without cleaning the dishwater off first that two bites caused me a severe case of food poisoning. Never again.
