SL Coconut Tree

Definitely would not recommend this restaurant, if you can even call it that. The food was horrible and not worth the price at all. The service was atrocious and disrespectful. If you want customers to keep coming back, be respectful and provide a service equal to everyone.

Coconut Tree was fabulous! The food was delicious and flavoursome, the atmosphere fun, the service fantastic (the perfect balance of attentiveness) and the price so reasonable. Plus you can BYO, which is always a stellar option. Will be coming back and while definitely want to spread the word, don't want it too popular you can't get in!

Really special. Food quality, portions, choices are all excellent but be prepared to pay a little extra. Dishes are about 20% dearer than average. Highly recommended!

We had the Sri Lankan banquet and it was fantastic! Generous portions and delicious Sri Lankan food. Service was very good and the restaurant is spacious.

A great little nook in Studfield. The service was great and the food very flavoursome. We have been here several times and the quality of the food has been great every single time.

Very disappointed with food as it was covered with oil. Clearly they do not think about the health aspect of the food. Luckily, I have tested with food with a take a way before come with the family. The staff is friendly and atmosphere is nice.

Nicely fitted out new restaurant in the area. Mixed Asian menu but we only tried the Sri Lankan offerings and really enjoyed the variety, great seafood selection and the egg roti was yummy, staff asked how spicy we wanted, we asked for how they would normally make it and it was nice and Loved it. Had the coconut creme caramel for dessert and that was my 5/5 dish, not too sweet and totally morish, will definitely dine here again, keep up the good work.

Probably the best Sri Lankan food I’ve had in Melbourne. Delicately spiced and lovely authentic Sri Lankan flavours.

Went here for the first time for a family celebration. Was amazed at how extensive the menu was, but when we got our meals even more impressed. Huge serving sizes, and the taste and quality was excellent. Haven't had dishes this good and for this value for a long time. Definitely hope to come back soon and hope more locals discover it as its hard to find places like this.
