The store is a ripper. I walked in and saw loads of upright pianos and continued through to one of the best ranges of guitars that I have seen in one shop. Basses galore and accessories that would cover any need. I said to a very helpful staff member that the store is great, but like most stores was seriously lacking drums and percussion gear. He motioned to the stairs and said I should have a look around upstairs. Well I was up there for three hours and was totally looked after by Oscar who is a monster on a drum kit and man does he know his stuff. He went through the range of Ludwig, DW and a few excellent brands that I was unfamiliar with. I thought I knew a bit about drums but Im a first grader compared to his knowledge. Apologies to the other good drum stores around Melbourne but Sky Music has set a new standard in my mind for range, service and quality…what an incredible store

A slight wait on a setup due to the nature of how busy the order volume is for the store but the wait is well worth it. Flawless execution.

Purchased a beautiful Green Gretsch from Sky Music. Aaron's service was awesome. He let my partner and I fiddle with all the models we were interested in and even was kind enough to give us privacy due to our skills not being super pro. Very fair with pricing and I purchased not only the guitar but also an Amp, Stand, Lead, Pics and a Guitar Strap. Overall, thrilled with my purchase and will be back for more soon enough!

What great customer service, needed speakers for a turntable and very friendly and helpful salesperson gave me a great deal on some high quality speakers and even made me a cord to connect the two. Strictly speaking i needed to go to an electronics shop to get this cord but he went out of his way to find a piece in the store room and prep it so the speakers are ready to go. Such a pleasant, professional and helpful person going a bit beyond! Highly recommend Sky music! Cool shop too, so many beautiful musical instruments being played by potential buyers, lovely to hear!

I finally decided to add a Boss Katana MKII 50w EX to my guitar and amp collection. In all honesty, because of my past experiences with Sky Music, it's the first place I will look for my equipment. They have always been super friendly, helpful and importantly, as well or better priced than anywhere else around. They put aside my new amp until I was able to get into store later than day, were as always very friendly and helpful when I arrived in store and the transaction was effortless. In the past I have purchased a 4x12 Marshall cabinet, they helped me get it into my car without me asking for help, and I have purchased a guitar from there which was better priced than anywhere else. So long as there is a Sky Music, I have found absolutely no need for any other store around so long as they have what I am looking for, and given their extensive inventory, they always seem to have what I want! Highly rated store, if you want something music related, make this place your first stop. =)

Bought a Maton SRS60C yesterday. The two young blokes who served me were great (can't remember both their names but my invoice says one was Patrick). They listened to what I was looking for, found me a space to sit and play some of the display instruments, bringing me the models I was interested in. There was no sales pressure, they were happy to answer questions and offer advice where they could. The store was busy and these guys were literally running at times and despite that apologised when we had to wait for a bit. So, I can't fault the service. They price matched and explained the warranty/refund conditions etc.clearly. Once I made my decision, a fresh guitar still in unopened manufacturer's packaging was bought out and I was given time to inspect it to make sure I was happy to take that particular guitar home. Overall, a good experience.

Excellent music store, They had everything, Fender, Gibson, Gretsch, PRS. Maton, Cases, Strings, Gigbags, Stands, Amps, Pianos, it was like i has stepped into a Rock wonderland.
Staff were all friendly and very helpfull and made buying a guitar an excellent experience and the 6 hour round trip drive well worth it. Why buy on line when you can go in person and try before you buy 5 Gold Stars.

Staff very helpful and knowledgeable, friendly staff member went out of his way to assist me. Ended up buying Jazz bass guitar also very much based on customer service.

Amazing helpful and quick customer service from these guys, Katie from customer service got me a quote for some guitars really quickly at a great price, I ended up buying one of the guitars and some other gear instead, Billy from sales was fantastic he still honoured the quote price and gave me some great advice on the other gear I bought, would highly recommend them great gear at good prices and super service.

Just received the amp today (Friday) in Sydney, less than 48 hrs from ordering.
