Dr. Teska changed my life!
I’ve had prominent veins around my eyes all my life just from genetically fine skin, and was quite insecure. After one treatment of the cool-glide laser, there is a SIGNIFICANT difference and I still see improvement everyday as time has passed leading up to my second session. I am now confident in my bare face, where I never was before. Dr. Teska has also made me feel very comfortable and heard. Couldn’t recommend her service more!

Never had any issues. Dr Teska is upfront with the costs if you ask. I've had good results while making it look natural and still me.

I went to Skin Temple as I have always been insecure about the brown birth mark/discolouration on the side of my face.

On the initial consultation she stated that I will need around 3-4 treatments to remove the pigment. I continued to pay $380 for each laser session and paying for them separately. I went to Skin Temple for the laser sessions separately and it was revealed to me that they actually offered packages of 5 or 10 laser sessions for a significantly cheaper price. She didn’t bother telling me about this. Furthermore, it was revealed that I need at least 5 more treatments for the birth mark to go away.

After the 4th treatment, the birth mark on my face barely looked any different and my family and friends said the birth mark looks the same. I am so disappointed that I wasted so much money on a treatment that made little to no change. I am so disheartened at this experience especially as they knew I was a full time university student.

If you want to go to this dermatologist please reconsider - she doesn’t care about patient results and patient experience, she only cares about her pockets. Not to mention she is the most unethical doctor I have ever met! At the time I wore a religious head covering and she made comments such as ‘I’m curious is that why you wear the scarf [in reference to my birth mark]’ in the initial consult and other comments I felt were not necessary about my religious garment.

Firstly, what acne treatment you are referring to? I don’t have acne so I don’t recall asking for an acne treatment?

Secondly, if I wanted more treatments I would have still been a patient of yours but from the last appointment with you I realised your lack of transparency and honesty. You didn’t inform me of all the options and what could have happened from the beginning - if I knew I needed 10 sessions I would have brought the 10 sessions at the consultation - unfortunately I felt lead on and misinformed.

You also would charge me $130 for a 10 minute appointment as a consultation fee just to inform me that you don’t have the usual cream I buy in stock.

Your response is quite disappointing as were the treatments you gave me. The only ‘grossly inaccurate and judgemental’ thing here is your response to a sad encounter I’ve had with a dermatologist I trusted with my skin, money and time! It is disgusting how judgemental and unaccepting you are to those with a headscarf and the types of passive aggressive comments you make.

Your threats mean nothing and this review is staying here. This was an honest review of my experience - this isn’t defamation but rather feedback but now I am receiving a threat from you which says a lot about your ethics.

This review was mere feedback for you to be more considerate about the way you make your patients feel but if you would like to escalate it further then I have no problem doing so too with the commissioner, I’m sure they would love to hear about your views on hijab.

Edit: I hope you can reflect on the way you speak to your patients - this is not an adopted country but rather my home. I am an Australian citizen and just as Australian as you are. What does wanting to be a healthcare practitioner have to do with wanting a dermatologist to be kinder and not ask offensive questions? I have been taking screenshots of your edits.

Thank you Dr Teska, for your professionalism and high standards in relation to public health orders made by the state government, in particular, mandating the Covid19 vaccination for all your eligible patients, visitors and staff. I do feel less vulnerable when entering your clinic knowing I am doing my best to protect others around. On a personal level, I understand the importance of limiting my exposure to the virus, as my mother is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. I have no doubt the vast majority of your patients and clients are very supportive and grateful. Thank you again for helping to keep us ALL safe.

When it comes to the medical/cosmetic field and the many practitioners out there, I choose to only ever deal with the very best, otherwise you're chances of a procedure going pear shaped is increased markedly. Personally I go to Skin Temple for treatment to fade lightly coloured facial cosmetic tattooing, that other specialists in the industry previously said couldn't be done. That is until I found the Skin Temple clinic. Dr Alicia Teska has and continues to work remarkable results on myself, and I am over the moon with how things are steadily progressing. Alicia is the best of the best. Highly professional and her knowledge in the vast, ever changing field of cosmetic procedures is unmatched. The clinics architectural design and lines are clean, the decor light, and a nice soft cultural blend of east meets west. And the atmosphere itself is comfortable and inviting, not to mention the staff who are always friendly. The Skin temple clinic is the place you go if you're serious about receiving the best treatments available from the best in the business with the best possible results. It's a no brainer.

I’ve been seeing Dr Teska for about 5 years now with my two teenage children for acne issues. My eldest son had severe acne, and after visiting a few different clinics, Dr Teska was the only one who really made a difference. Dr Teska has always been very thorough and taken the time to explain every treatment plan. She has a very warm approach and is clearly very passionate about what she does and helping people get the best results they possibly can. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Dr Teska to others and have already done so on a few occasions.

I cannot believe this place is still opened. They’re ruining people’s skin and stealing their money! Please do some research before booking an appointment with them - no refund or help if they mess up with your (expensive) treatment. You’re better off with a night cream from Coles.

My wife has been seeing Dr Teska for almost ten years and she couldn't be happier with the various treatments she has received over the years. With a darker complexion it was difficult to find a clinic that understood or cared about her as an individual. Dr Teska has always treated my wife with kindness and has ensured the various treatments were tailored to suit her needs. If you are looking for professional skin care I would highly recommend Dr Teska.

I recently had lip filler done with Dr Teska and I’m extremely happy with the service provided and my results. I was never rushed through the consultation and Dr Teska did not rush me through the actual procedure either. She is very professional and I would highly recommend her. I highly recommend Dr Tasks. Have been going to her for last 15 years for various treatments and my skin feels and looks great. I like her warm and kind approach. She is also very considerate of my wishes and never pushes me to try cosmetic products and treatments I don't need nor wish to have- this is not the case with other cosmetic dermatologists I have seen before.

Have been going to Alicia for yrs.really insightful and honest and I always feel and look great when I leave! I’ve had problems every time I’ve tried somewhere else, you get what you pay for. Highly recommended!

Please avoid this clinic! “Dr” Alicia Teska only cares about getting your money. She will make you pay for a treatment that gives you acne. Doctors make mistakes but it is scandalous to ask for more money to fix them. Only con artists such as Alicia Teska operate this way. She is a disgrace to her profession She has ruined people’s faces without any remorse. Don’t get fooled by the good reviews, your skin deserves better!
