40 years ago discovered Sim and still same old service and large display of all the sporting gear available with the best price in Melbourne. Good things don't change.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent range and some great deals on shoes. Very happy with the Nikes I picked up from them and would recommend their store to anyone looking for running shoes in the Moonee Ponds area.

Absolutely amazing service there today 13/08 off the tall young guy who helped my mum and I organised shoes for my 2 sons. Been a long time since I've received genuine, great customer service. He was patient, helpful, great with the kids and friendly. Keep up the amazing service!

Had the most fantastic experience with Lucas. Super knowledgable, had me in the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn within 5 minutes of entering the store, he was super funny and made my mum crack up constantly

Sims Sports, best sport/runner store in the west. They have been selling me shoes back when my feet still got bigger B4 the soles wore out. Long term customer, bring back the 90's.

I recently purchased a pair of the ASICS ladies Kayano 28 French blue/Thunder blue. The shoes arrived promptly, great fit and very comfortable as expected. I had inadvertently put the incorrect address on my order and staff rang to clarify and make sure it was all correct before sending. So glad they did, very good service.

Thank you once again for your patience and excellent assistance in sizing my Brooks running shoes today. Now i can continue my lockdown exercise with full support.

Called in earlier this week to pick up my second pair of Brooks Addiction Walkers, after an online inquiry that was answered promptly. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The store also offers some of the best prices in town. Highly recommended.

*Sales stuff are very helpful and polite
*The stock and sizing they list on their website is not necessarily what they have in-store (false advertising).
*I had sizing/fitting issues with a certain brand of shoe and they went above and beyond to help me.
*Owner is unfriendly / dismissive if you have issues with their products (he made me feel uncomfortable for not buying a product).

Overall a very slightly above average experience, however I wouldn't go back.

I called early in the week enquiring about a pair of runners I wanted to purchase and put my name down. At this point I also enquired about shipping.
They advised they would be available on Friday and to call back then. I called.
The sales assistant stated they hadn’t unpacked boxes and to call later in the day. I called again only to be notified that they were now sold out due to 55 online orders that they’d filled first. Surprised and frustrated I asked when they expected more as they were a birthday present and I was eager to purchase. I was told on Monday. So, on the phone again. This time I’m told they’re waiting for more stock. Feeling really disappointed I stated my situation at which point the sales assistant said she’d look out the back. They had a pair in stock.
Then I’m abruptly told they’re on hold and come to pick them up. Due to Covid Im unable to collect so I am advised to order them off the website if I wanted them shipped. Flabbergasted as to why I wasnt directed to their website on my initial enquiry. What a waste of time. Really appalled with their customer service and their abrupt, dismissive manner. The shoes didn’t arrive on time for my sons birthday.

Been shopping at sims for over 30 years, friendly staff and a great range of sneakers. I’m sure I’m not the only one that loves the sound of the creaking stairs

Sims Sport offered me a great price online for a new pair of runners I was after. I pre-ordered them before their release with an expected delivery date advised. The runners arrived on time and I was very happy with Sim Sport service every inch of the way.

Local Institution around near 90 years - hopefully another 90! Sims has an amazing selection of sporting attire and runners at great prices. Love getting my 'free' t-shirt when I buy my new runners, a badge of local honour! The owner Rob is a lovely man who only employs the nicest people. Always a pleasure shopping at Sims. Stuff the franchise stores - shop local!

Sims Sports is a great family run business. They have a wide range of runners, footy boots and sports clothes and offer great customer service everytime you go in there. They have fantastic prices and always look after their customers. We have been going their for years and will only go to Sims rather than the big chain stores. If your not going to Sims Sports.then you should be.

The customer service here was outstanding. I asked a lot of questions and the team answered knowledgeably. I came away with a great pair of shoes!

Sick of multi-national stores and was prepared more to shop local. Got the right shoe for LESS than on the internet and the big sports stores and the service was awesome. Too easy.

Keen pricing led to placement of order. Received phone call on Saturday afternoon (following day) just checking my details were correct. Order received a couple of days later including a couple of unexpected bonus items. Highly recommend.

My family and have been buying our sports shoes here for years and never had a problem except for the last pair of brooks i bought they changed them for a new pair without any fuss The staff know there trade and are always helpful and friendly and if this was not enough i defy you to find a better price THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
