28Nice hidden Gem in Sandy opposite the station. Great vibe and cool interior. Nice wine list. Will be back again
Highly recommend! My wife visited for the first time with friends Friday night and had a great time, so we went together tonight and it did not disappoint. Well rounded wine list with some fantastic local & European drops, mixed drinks and beer/cider too. Ambience is great too and very welcoming and friendly staff. As locals we are stoked to have sidebar open up and will be regulars.
Visited Sidebar for the first time last week, and will definitely be going back. Good range of wines- to drink there and take home. The staff were very knowledgeable and super friendly. My fave new bayside spot!
I loved the informal relaxed environment at Sidebar. I would have liked a few more food choices.
Gorgeous small wine bar with nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Great place to share a bottle of wine with friends or on a date.
After visiting for the first time last week, this has quickly become one of my favourite bars. Excellent service, great wine and a cosy and stylish environment to enjoy some drinks with friends in.
Pretty good selection of wines, both to drink there by the glass, or to buy and take home. A fair few of the bottles they have to purchase are available to sample, so you can make a more informed decision.
There's a small handful of beers & spirits available, but nothing to get excited over - wine is very much the main game here.
Prices are OK - not cheap, but not super expensive - 2 bottles (take home), 3 glasses, and some nuts came to about $120. The smoked almonds were a bit disappointing - for $6 we got a small ramekin that was filled with about 50% almonds, and 50% random chopped herbs/spices. Despite that relatively minor issue, I'd probably go back.
