Absolutely awesome venue! Love the bar, great staff, awesome manager and a fantastic owner!

One of the best local spaces around, intimate seating areas with very knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand.

Great atmosphere. Annoying that we were charged for food we didn’t receive, and disappointed that the kitchen closed early despite being told it would be open for another 15 minutes.

Great Sunday evening spent with delicious cocktails, customer service and relaxed, moody atmosphere. Would recommend!

Beautiful place with beautiful staff. The wine choices have always been enjoyable. And so friendly to our 2 year old we take with us on a Friyay! I would selfishly love to see more vegan choices on the food menu so I can eat there as I’m sure they would be amazing. My partner always enjoys his food there.

Flynn our server was confident and professional. He offered us blankets which were much needed in the evening chill. The Old Fashioned built by the owner was perfectly diluted when it arrived - which was nice, but didn't allow for much development in the balance of the drink as the night wore on. Something to consider, perhaps. Either way, it was a lovely relaxed drinking and dining experience.

Had a ripper of a night at this little place! A very cool spot with with great menus for both food and drink. Service was quick and attentive, even when tucked into a back area. The back room having it's own toilet was such a bonus.

Staff were very friendly and fun to interact with. Chef Craig put together some very tasty food with great selections for our table. The vibe in the whole place was very fun, lowkey but with an excellent vibe.

Definitely will be back here!

Came here this afternoon and the 4 of us had a fantastic experience, both service and drink was excellent. We also greatly appreciated being given a choice on how we could pay. Definitely be returning guys.

I enjoyed a very nice beer on the out door seating on a warm Friday night. The wine list looks quite impressive as well along with a good range of gins etc.

The service at Sidecar is truly impeccable. After much discussion about the ins and outs of liquor, I ordered the Amaro Flip.do yourself a favour. It is absolutely fantastic and definitely worth visit.

Food menu is extremely limited. Staff knowledge is even more limited. The managers politeness is non-existent. And everything was over priced and bland.

Never during my four years in Australia have I ever experienced such rude and indifferent servers. We arrived (4 of us) and were immediately told we couldn’t sit at the outside table we sat at because they had a reservation in an hour. We assured the server we would leave by then. We then had to wait for 10 minutes before someone even came to take our order and we had to walk in to get a menu. We ordered cheese, meats for snacks and a cocktail. My friend ordered a rose and the server came out with an almost empty bottle. My friend said that isn’t a full glass of wine and the server said “it’s about 120 Ml”. Not a full glass. He just didn’t want to go back to get another bottle for the extra 30 ml. We asked the server if we had time for a second cocktail and were told no. So we said okay we will just have the Bill. The bill was brought out, we paid and then we were asked to leave. We didn’t plan to linger but the server said “I have to ask you to leave”. This is the gist of our very unpleasant experience. We walked past again after going to the grocery store and still about 25 minutes later no one was sitting at the table. I will never go back. Unfortunate because I have been there before for a glass of wine and it was lovely. Really depends on who is working and how they manage people.

My husband and i went to have a Wine and Charcuterie board at the Sidebar. The recommended wines beautifuly complimented the Charcuterie boards outstanding meats cheeses and fruits.
Great vibe and wonderful service provided by your tean and could not more highly recommend the Side Bar for casual with a touch of elegance evening out.

Only downside was the menu was hard to understand. I'm not a foodie and don't want to be, so don't know all those words so found it hard to order from (I nearly left because of this)

Fabulous selections of wine. Informative and helpful staff. Enjoyed meeting with friends pre co vid. Enjoying take away during. Especially for he gnocchi and sauces

Had a great atmosphere, I had a lovely French Pinot Gris and my companion a refreshing Prosecco. We had hoped for a fuller menu (it was our first visit), so then moved on. We will be back!
