Shri Shiva Vishnu Temple reviews
43Clean & organised but the parents need to control their wild 2 legged animals. I could not meditate or pray divinely. The temple management need to control and advice the 2 legged animals to behave. Temple is not a playground. It’s place of worship and serenity.
Peaceful atmosphere.
Accessible by public transport.
Their cafe has variety of dishes at reasonable price.
Hygiene is always of a question, but not really bad. Typicality of Brahminism is slowly rolling up it's domination here too: - (. Very different layout than typical Indian.
The canteen is worth for money. But taste is hit and miss. Some days are really good. Some days, you don't feel to complete your plate - probably because it's run by volunteers. Overall a decent canteen for the money you pay.
Beautiful drive from SE suburbs (closer to city) and the temple has an amazing vibe. Feels like one of the authentic south Indian temples and the on-site canteen is reasonable and delicious. Fresh authentic food with a lot of variety and flavor, prepared with love & care - food for the soul, as I like to say. One of the "Must-see" temples in Melbourne.
A lovely temple in a beautiful space. Annapurna cafe in the temple premises has really good options. We have always stopped by for breakfast when driving in that direction and the mysore masala dosa are nearly as good as the darshini style ones back home. A must visit!
Great temple just divine and it is more beautiful now with great kids spots and a decent canteen. Whilst canteen can be hit and miss and quite slow all the money raised goes to temple which is good.
Temple is great. However, visiting on Diwali is not very easy. Finding parking near the temple is very difficult. Be ready to walk for atleast a mile during that day.
The cafeteria is great! Definitely a place to drop for a beautiful evening away from City traffic environment.
.
Place holds one of the healthiest vegetarian foods in Melbourne
One among the biggest hindu temple in Melbourne. There cafeteria is really famous for the authentic south indian dishes
At the cafeteria, ordered Chapati with Kurma. I found the chapatis were half baked and raw inside. When informed the attending person, he enquired with the kitchen staffs and informed these are packet rotis microwaved and served. Requested to bake it and serve. I was informed foods once served can not be taken back into kitchen and can not be helped. After my request, he agreed to serve fresh one without any charge. And similar sort of 2 pcs of half baked microwaved chapati were served again. Thanks a lot for the crappy and shitty foods. Never again. Advice: DONOT try the chapati. Also asked how the other stuffs are cooked before you order. May Bhagawan bless these guys.
Well maintained. Holistic collection of deities.
Also close to a bus stop, if using a public transportation.
Great place. Tasty food available in the canteen at lowest price. Must visit place if you love to visit a Hindu temple.
Great place for worship. This is a big temple with many Gods and the temple also has many small mini temples inside which gives you a very good feel. The mantras inside resound inside the temple and the priests are nice. Very nicely laid architecture and a must visit place.
Very nice religious place, temple for worshipping and good canteen services for south Indian dishes.
Beautiful & peaceful place one can go who wants to relax and pray in an atmosphere filled with lots of positivity.
Clean environment. Great darshanam. Friendly temple staff.very pleasant and religious placem Great food
Such a lovely ambience where it feels like Indian temple. Temple is so good & well maintained & Archana's can be done in affordable price.
Food is authentic south Indian at Annapoorna cafe inside the temple. Quite far but still its one of my favourite places
Peaceful ambience though
At Somepoint Everyone Searches For God, To Know Their 'Purpose Of Life'. Most Of Them Find The Purpose And The Rest Life.
