It's a very busy place. One of the prestigious Hindu temples in Melbourne. You can get vegetarian food here. Food is delicious.

Calm environment. Play area for kids. Nice to see peacocks. Delicious canteen food, but there could be wait time between 10 and 30 minutes.

This temple is beautiful but NEVER do pay for blessings (arachanams) it’s more of a business transaction.some priests are not fit for this Role. And if they don’t like you they won’t do their duty in the temple. I’ve been going here since I was a child. Times have changed ever since they’ve been getting more donations and money. Greedy. Not what I stand for. Watch them take up your plate in the temple and watch your blessings. If they don’t take up your plate for the Pooja, complain!

Came here for diwlai. Very nice temple. Food court lines are very long though. Otherwise a must visit.

Great atmosphere
Plenty of parking
They need to provide a shoe storage area next to the entrance
The current arrangements are not suitable for Australian conditions.

Peaceful divine and full of calmness.
Visited on a weekday so maybe the rush was less but since it was evening Aarti there were still a lot of people.
The canteen food is very good and delicious.
A must visit.

Calm and peaceful place for weekend. Belive its One of the largest Hindu temple in Melbourne.
Shiva and Vishnu are deity.
They have a nice canteen with affordable price menu.
And just opposite to the temple there is a grocery store to stop and shop
Good drive from city.

To the President of Siva Vishnu temple, This temple was built with the donation of most hindu devotees of Victoria. I hope your management take this comment seriously. Your manager was very rude to me when I was taking abit of prasatham and put it in mouth. I didn't take the plastic bag because there were not enough prasatham in the pale, so I left the balance for other devotees to have it in a good will and I didn't want to waste a bag for just a little bit. He told me to get out of the temple to eat it. I was not taking handful or filling up a plastic bag for breakfast or lunch. Your manager humiliated me in front of many devotees by asking me to go out. I think your manager has to be trained on basic communications skill. Alot of devotees who I know had faced similar experience by this unpleasant manager's rude attitude. I am coming to this temple ever since it was built. I have come a cross more than 5 different managers. In this temple. Never ever have seen such a grumpy sour face like this current manager. Very unpleasant man. This is a public temple for devotees.temple staff don't have to treat public as their Boss but they should show basic politeness to those who are coming to the temple. Your manager's attitude is intolerable

A temple precinct to worship in the same traditions of India.

People visiting need to learn the way of respect and parents to educate their children on how to behave in a temple. Most parents ignore the need of it.

Removing the shoe storage unit to a different distant location was not the brightest of ideas, not at least for families with young kids and out in the coldy, wet, windy winter!

Nice ambience. However the priests are not dedicated to the devotees' needs and spend a lot of time chatting to each other.
The footwear removal arrangement needs to consider colder weather of Melbourne. The devotees may not be able to walk long distance barefoot.

Like Durga Temple & gurdwaras on a Saturday there should be PRASHAD given to devotees.
Nothing is there on any days.
They are interested in collecting money in the name of different poojaa but nothing is given devotees at any given day. Probably
Worse Selfish and disgraceful group running this temple.

Very calm relaxing place.

Very well laid out, has ample parking, well dedicated spaces for footwear, to buy offerings, prayer areas and help.

There is a lot of space in the main temple to sit and pray.

The food court that sits next to the temple serves hot and delicious food at very reasonable prices.

Its a nice hindu temple with grand architecture and beautiful carvings, exactly like you find in Indian temples back home. Like all large temples in India, this one as well has number of deities to worship under one roof. This place also has a cafe which offers authentic South Indian food at great prices which is delight.

Peaceful, clean place. Priest seemed to know what he was doing for my new bike's puja. Good thing is, they provide all required items for the puja.

Beautiful temple, modern interior with several dieties.
However, the lack of priests and counter staff almost always results in a long waiting time.
Also, the cost of prayer tickets at $5 for a small packet of nuts as offering needs to be looked into.
There also has to be clear signs informing parents to be responsible for preventing their children from disturbing the peace of other devotees.

Nice temple
They should put good fresh coconut as they take price for it. It was already started to decompose in my case

A very pleasant atmosphere, away from the hustle of traffic or any kind of noise. One of the biggest temples in Melbourne covering many deities for all in one location. Can easily spend an hour with family, do give a visit to annapoorna canteen for delicious prasaadam which is right next to the temple within the premises.

Beautiful Temple. All Gods in one place for workshipping. Cafe is the best part as you get delicious South Indian food in cheaper price.
