Shoya Japanese Restaurant

We remotely organised a dinner package/experience for my in laws from Brisbane Qld via the online booking system; Tomo, one of their amazing managers contacted me soon after to confirm all the details and dietary requirements let alone to make arrangements for me to cover the full bill at the end of the evening. It is the best thing I can do to make my Mother in law's birthday even more special.

Unbelievable! The sushi bar was superb, the service was 1st rate and the Tuna belly was the best ever.

Shoya was very good. We got the business lunch course and for the most part, it all tasted pretty good, especially the sashimi and wagyu! The vibe of the place is amazing and the customer service was excellent:) very happy with Shoya. We do have to take off a star because we got like 1 dish in 45 mins and had to ask where our other food was. Overall, it was a pre good experience and i would recommend!

A tucked away gem with exceptional service by lovely knowledgeable staff. Had the business lunch set and was surprised by how delicious every serve was.

10/10 experience. Delicious and fresh Japanese cuisine elegantly prepared. The innovation and artisanal expertise of the chef shine through in every dish. Paired with professional and friendly service as well as an intimate ambience make for an unforgettable fine dining experience. We will be back!

Their lunch sets are fantastic and reasonably priced. Great taste and food is fresh. The ambience is also very nice. Would recommend!

A great dinner place for that special occasion. Shashimi, was fresh with a great variety. Their recommended chef's choice of crab on grilled eel was superb, as was the smoked lobster. This was all topped off with Australian Waygu and black cod with miso and washed down with a bottle of champagne on a bd celebration. Food like this should be shared, so have a good company that enjoy the experience.

Service and staff was good but we think that they come around our table too many times and constant to clear and add water or tea which interrupts our conversations and also we felt rush although they didn’t rush us.

Went for the lunch which included sets priced around $30+. We also had the premium chirashi set priced at $55 which included 2 pieces of chutoro. Service was exceptional. Left the restaurant very full and contented. Only negative was that the wagyu was slightly on the tough side.

Always a pleasure to dine here, the food and service never ceases to amaze me! The best place in house is the sushi bar!

Good value for money if you order a meal set. I always go there with my friends who all enjoyed their food and price for a set meal is reasonable and affordable. Staff is friendly.

We love coming here for the Lunch Set menu. Multiple courses of delicately prepared food and impeccable service make the whole experience a wonderful treat.

The service is always great, and the food is unique. It is a little pricier, but it's great for an occasional splurge.

Great Japanese place in the city, worth trying their degustation menus. What I really liked was that each degustation was quite different from the other so you can always go back and try something new!

Excellent ambience with superb service. No complaints and comments. Food served was on point, taste and prettiness. The restaurant has a few floors, each floor tastefully designed and decorated. Good job!
