26Service by this chain is the most appalling I have ever seen both in Camberwell and Malvern stores. Staff don’t acknowledge waiting people, ticket system is not apparent, staff have no ability to multi task, expect to be waiting for over an hour. Practically impossible to do a return. Considering they sell premium product I would be spending my money elsewhere now.
Great place for kids shoe. Manager needs to be more realistic with customer than ' I can't do anything about it. Not good for business It's very hard to get loyal customer.
Awful customer service. Rude and obnoxious staff member Loreal/Laurel ruined the whole shopping experience for myself and my 7 year old daughter. The staff member refused to look into shoes sizes and said they didn't have anything in my daughter's size (she's a standard children's size 2). She didn't even check other stores because according to her every style I chose - was apparently not made in that size. It was like the assistant wasn't interested in helping me at all. I left feeling really upset. Subsequently went to Shoes and Sox in Westfield Doncaster - a totally different experience and all the sizes I was told were not available by Loreal in the previous store were all there! Please train up your staff so that the standard of customer service is consistently high across all stores.
We had a great experience with Shoes & Sox in Camberwell. My little boy has just got orthotics and he hates wearing them and any shoes full stop. Two lovely girls greeted us on arrival and took so much time to find us the right shoe. Nothing was too much trouble and we so appreciate the time, care and understanding they both showed. Now my little boy loves wearing his shoes with his orthotics. Thank you we will definitely be back!
Update: Apparently the shop is at rear of the marked location - not visible from the street. I never found it at the time. Not sure how they can make that less confusing for customers.
