34Been before & really enjoyed the experience. The menu a few days ago included only 1 vegetarian dish (an entree) so we had to move on. The rest of Queenscliffe wasn't much better - it was a struggle. Ended up doing the all day breakfast thing. Last visit to Queenscliffe I think
I was very disappointed w the charcuterie plate but my 3 companions enjoyed the Paella and chicken breast
Great night had by all in our little group, enhance by good food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Both the owners were happy to sit down with us and exchange pleasantries. Even running out of ice cream to fulfil our affogato order wasn’t enough to dampen our spirits, a quick mercy dash by our boys to the local ice creamery over came that problem and added to what was a memorable night. Loved it.
Had nice lunch, seemed best thing around that wasn't fish and chips or a pub.fish of the day is straight from fishing boats down in the port and grilled to perfection
Lunch menu was quite pricey. Cheapest dish was grilled chicken $23.5. It was just chicken and a little bit of green salad. You would need to order sides (chips or salad) to fill yourself.
Food quality was very nice, and staff was quite attentive.
If you have a decent budget, I would recommend trying this cafe out.
Went here today for lunch. A waitress put us in the corner and gave us the menu and didn’t come back to take our order in the 20 minutes we were there. We were near the sun and there was shade of umbrella but in few minutes the owner/chef came and put that umbrella somewhere else leaving us in the sun. We felt terrible and walked out and nobody seemed to care too.
Oh, this was bad. Maybe they try harder for locals than for holiday makers (which we were) - food was no better than truck-stop takeaway. Avoid this place, they seem to dislike the visitor trade they’ll need to survive.
This is a quiet place to enjoy a lovely cup of tea and breakfast great atmosphere and a garden to sit out in too
We loved the ambiance, very lovely waiter/owners, delicious breakfast. I highly recommend this place.
Great seafood!
We came for lunch and we had the scallops (x6 pieces) and the mussels (huge plate) both served with bread. Both plates absolutely amazing taste. I would recommend you pay a visit. + friendly staff
Had a lovely dinner here (they were open for extended trading during summer). The staff are friendly and attentive. Dumplings are nice, not super traditional, but pretty tasty. The mains, however, were delicious! We had the chicken and pork mains, which came with a simple iceberg salad with tangy dressing and freshly cut shoestring fries. Bathrooms are clean too. It’s a little pricey for Queenscliff, but the quality of the meat was very good. Would definitely return.
Great place for a breakfast fresh food cook well for me and my family the staff were very helpful again great work keep it up
We thought it looked a bit pricy but. The food is so much worth It. Se had the scallops and the calamari and they both were amazing! Great presentation amd even better taste and cooked the scallops were as fresh as fished in the morning.
I definetly recomend spending a bit of money if you are looking for good food and nice enviorment.
Great food, Coffee & ambience. Owner was there & was very calm & hospitable, so when you get to meet the owner who actually stops & takes the time to chat, you know your at a cafe with true values!
Def worth a visit.
