That was the worst service/experience we ever had. I wish I could give 0 star. Very poor customer service, the situation is poorly managed. Food doesn’t taste good particularly calamari is very salty! Completely a waste of time coming there.

Thank you to all the Staff and especially Trish the supervisor last night who helped look after my partner Craig when he had an episode in the Restaurant you were amazing and so calm. He is OK and was discharged from the Hospital at about 1.10am after blood tests and were still not sure what's wrong but he's feeling a lot better today and taking it easy. All the staff that helped we would like to thank all of you and wish you a Very Merry Christmas with family and friends, we will definitely be back soon to thank you in person.xx

Only previous visit was in the 80's when very basic. Returned with friends yesterday for lunch and most surprised. Very sophisticated and classy. Meals, service, atmosphere all very good. Jewel in the Crown in our northern suburbs

I think they should get different chefs as they aren't cooking steak how you ask for it they aren't listening to customers. The chicken I had was also over cooked making it dry. Time to give another place a go for me.

I went with a large group of seniors.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The food was great quality and value.
The menu has a few gluten free options, and staff were helpful advising of possible GF modifications.
There were no complaints from our group members.
Nice, clean and welcoming bistro and Bar areas.

We’ve just experienced a terrific evening at the Shell Club. The meals were incredible and the service from Trish was second to none. Have booked in again. Well done team

Lovely place to celebrate a birthday experienced staff. Food was quite alot very good. They do a takeaway container for you. Very enjoyable

Meals are usually really good. Friday night was busy. Everyone’s food on the table. Looked good except for mine. I ordered the pumpkin salad. As there isn’t very much more for vegetarians. Last time I order it back in January was great. So I orders it again. For $19.90 I would have expected a full bowl of salad. Last night I got a handful of rocket. Maybe 4 half cherry tomatoes and some pumpkin and feta. I could actually see the bottom of the bowl. Terrible for that price. Probably won’t go back any time soon.

We were with another couple, on a Sunday night. We booked a table, just to be on the safe side.
Two had the roast of the day (pork), one had a bbq parmy with chips and salad, and one had nasi goring: all were very large, tasty meals.
Service was quick, and cheerful.
Drinks from the bar were very reasonably priced.
During the week several nights have great specials e.g. Wednesday night is steak night for $22.
Senior meals are available Monday to Friday.
Daily specials are very popular, usually a choice of 3 or 4.
We will definitely be back on a Wednesday night, to try the steaks, which looked delicious.

Very friendly service. Enjoyed our meal tonight. Were very accommodating when asked to get moved away from door leading to smokers area.

False opening hours! The sign CLEARLY Says the club will close at 12am however when we got there 40 minutes before midnight the doors were locked and the cleaner kept us waiting for 10 mins and said that she will call the security guard, after waiting for 10 min the guard came and told us that the club is closed!? And I simply asked to let us in as we were there to play a game of pool (not a big deal) he refused and we’re replying in an aggressive manner. What a waste of 30 minutes.have fun to the people who comes here. Should kept opening hours to 11: 30pm instead of 12am?

The meals were pretty good and service was fantastic. Highly recommended, and the new Reno's looked great.

We go quite often and the roasts were amazing. The last few visits have disappointed us. Has got so much smaller and the pork crackle used to be great and plentiful also but have started deep frying it and is not good at all. Also took a long time to get a starter of bread then the food came out only just warm! I asked for mine to be microwaved and came back NO warmer. Such a shame uses to be very consistent but the waitresses are very very helpful and friendly. Just need to get back to how it wast a couple of months ago not sure if it's a new chef but will give them another go for sure.

Handy place for a quick meal. We ate there before catching the boat to Tasmania. Good option. Better than the boat provides.

Reasonable prices and meals are nice. Pokies as well if you're so inclined. Quite nice inside and out for dining.

Went to the Shell Club this Wednesday, for the steak night absolutely sensational feed especially at the price. How good is it to actually get your steak cooked to the way you want it first time not having to send it back to get it cooked.
My wife and I can only recommend it. Staff were all great thankyou.

My first time here, accompanying my parents so they could try the Seniors Lunch menu. They had dined here many moons ago.

Hands down, the staff are truly wonderful From being greeted at the entrance and explained what was required for entry and where the bistro was, to everyone in the bistro… they were so friendly and caring. Apologies, I can only recall one person’s name and that was Vicki - thank you

All our meals were plentiful and delicious. The dining area is beautiful and overlooks gorgeous gardens. Everything was clean.

Menu needs a bit of rotating and a specials board would be great. Limited with what I can order there but lovely place to visit. Very modern.

Great meal tonight, venue/gaming room looks good after renovations but a bit disappointed with the bar / gaming staff they didn't look happy or friendly at any stage and were very slow in serving people
