Shanikas Berwick

About 5 weeks ago we ordered take away from Shanikas for the 1st time in years. We ordered the Beef Ragu & the Rays Special. And although we loved both meals (& got an extra feed out of both) we now have a Rays Special every weekend (Friday, Saturday or Sunday night) - it is delicious and 1 serve is plenty for us both.

Great food. Great server? Was very accommodating to our changing and evolving menu selection.great venue for our office Xmas party?

Delicious food. Gluten free options. Gnocchi is so fresh. Tiramasu traditionally made. Steak is a decent size. Highly recommend

One of our favourite restaurants. I’d have to say we order food almost weekly from Shanika’s. All of the staff are incredible and manage to remember most of their customers. Highly recommend to everyone!

Food wise - order Ray’s Special! Sounds interesting, but it’s the best thing on the menu!

Fantastic selection of fine dining or takeaway, you have not lived if you haven't tried shanikas, one of life's treasures.

After a long Covid lockdown, it was a pleasure to celebrate my wife's birthday at Shanikas. We were amazed at the quality of the meals, and delighted by the friendly and attentive team who made sure we felt welcome, and always made sure we had everything we needed throughout the dining experience. We'll be back again soon with our tribe.

The service was outstanding, the food quality was on point and the overall experience was worth every dollar. Highly recommend!

Possibly the best Italian food I've ever had, regular customer and the food is always delicious, no matter what dish you choose! My favourites are the beef cheeks and the Fettucini con Salciccia, never disappointed!
But what makes them a 5 star review is their customer service, they are so busy and somehow always make you feel extra special, as though you're their only customer! I love this place I would give them 10 stars if I could

We have been coming to Shanika's for years now (started with Pakenham when we lived there) and I can't say I have ever had a bad meal.

The staff are always exceptionally friendly and helpful

My favourite dishes are Pasta Tre Carne and the Ray Special - delicious!

As a growing outer south eastern suburb, Berwick cane from humble beginnings. A little shopping strip in the main strip has become a bustling hive for the many residents. Shanikas was there is the early days and it is still there despite the many obstacles including Covid 19. That is testament to the quality of this establishment and the food it provides to the local community. The food is always of a high standard, the menu is diverse and the staff are welcoming, engaging and fun. Whilst not cheap, the old adage applies, you get what you pay for. A quality meal is synonymous with a higher price tag. The atmosphere inside is wonderful thanks to a recent refurbishment which wraps up the Shanikas experience. Thanks Shanikas for the many years of tasty food I've had. You get 5 stars from my clan.

A very pleasant dining experience from the very beginning. We were greeted by one of the friendly staff, and seated immediately. There were four of us and our orders were taken by very professional wait staff, with our diverse main courses arriving together. Each one was thoroughly enjoyed. We abandoned dessert in favour of coffee, and again it was excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch experience

OMG get your taste buds wrapped around the food at this place! Its amazing. So glad we can order and collect during lockdown. Personal favourites are the Arancini and the Lemon Myrtle Calamari from the Starters and the pastas in the Mains are just divine. I've had most of them but my super fav's are the Gnocchi Paesano and the Pesto Rigatoni. Get on it. You wont be disappointed.

Never tried food up here. Went in for delivery and it was very warm and welcoming environment and staff. Surely a place to visit. Next on my list!
