Really disappointed with the “Tom Yum Noodle soup with mixed seafood”
Watery broth with about six threads pieces of green, 2 half baby corn, two small prawns and two chewy pieces of calamari about 2cm in length.
All of this for $21!

Delicious food and good customer service! Love their soup dumplings! The decor is simple but the food is def worth a visit!

Great food and friendly staff. Vegetarian fried rice is sensational. Spring onion pancakes are amazing. Pan fried pork dumplings are great. Lemon chicken is one of the best I've had. Everything else I've tried is nice. Only recommendation I would have is to add a little more curry flavour to the Singapore noodles

Customers please be aware and don't buy food from this restorent. They are not taking safety measures by keeping sanitisors. They dont want to keep the door open for the customers. Uber driver keep touching the knob of the door and its not safe in this current situation. They are even not wearing gloves while cooking. Staff are not friendly

Standard has dropped immensely lately. Crispy chicken is overcooked like cardboard, red bean pancake recipe has changed and is now so dry. Twice I ordered spicy fish fillets via delivery and they sent calamari instead. We used to be regular customers, but doubt we will be back.

Four of us went to Shanghai Taste Noodle and Dining on a Saturday night for dinner. On arrival we were seated promptly. We ordered dumplings and soup for entree and it arrived very quickly. They were both delicious and filling. For main meals, we ordered lemon chicken, greens, beef black bean and fried rice. They were really tasty and I particularly enjoyed the lemon chicken, because it was crisp and flavoursome. The restaurant itself looks more like a cafeteria. The tables and chairs, as well as the drinks fridge gives off the cafeteria vibe. They could definitely do well with some renovations or improved furniture and deco. But other than that, the food and customer service is very good.

Tried a few meals for the first time from here, very happy with the food and menu. Will definitely be back

Ordered at 11pm at night, delivery was super quick, the food was actually better than I expected.

We ordered delivery (which we paid for) including a special fried rice with no meat. It came with meat. When we rang them to point out their mistake they asked us to come in and collect the corrected dish. Very disappointing with their idea of not merely satisfying a customer but actually getting their order right.

No need for bookings at this place, dining room was empty most of the time we were there on a Saturday night during what would be considered peak dinner period. But we did notice lots of take aways so it must mean the food is okay enough for the locals.

Menu choice was fairly standard as you would expect for the area so you wouldn't expect to see many of the traditional entree type dishes. Service was good, attentive when required. We had dumplings, fairly standard too, nothing special.

Small Shanghainese restaurant on Waverley road. The business owner are very accommodating since we brought a 1 month old. They gave us a seat away from the air conditioning. The noodle and rice dish are mediocre. However the hot and sour soup is really good. I think they put some pickled vegetables in the soup which makes it unique compared to the normal version.

Fantastic casual dumpling spot, great service and just beautiful food! Cannot go wrong here and have never had a bad experience - must recommend.

Stumbled across this place accidentally, greeated by a lovely vibrant woman who makes you feel welcome. Grabbed the Thai Fried Rice and Chili Beef take away. DELICIOUS! This place is cheap, friendly and the food is amazing.what more could you want? !

Extremely expensive for what it is. Disgruntled and aggressive maître d'. Dumplings with Chili oil are their saving grace.

Fantastic food. Had the Chilli beef, Mongolian chicken, Singapore noodles and fried rice.
Only negative is the girl at the front who told me it would rake 25min for takeaway. Lucky I didn't listen to her and cancel the order.

Fantastic little Shanghainese place, super cheap with matching decor. Dumplings really hit the spot and available frozen as well. BYO available.
