Shamrock Hotel

Looking for that nice Sunday roast, the Shamrock Hotel Kyneton was perfect, slow cooked lamb for four hours, perfectly roasted vegetables and some nice wines, perfect.

Great service and great food! Lovely and welcoming in the bistro. Good for couples or families. Nice atmosphere and really nice staff!

Visited the pub today for lunch and was so impressed with the service and food. I ordered the chicken Parma with roasted veggies and wow it was delicious! My daughter ordered the steak sandwich with chips which was delicious. Drinks are well priced. Highly recommended!

The food, waitstaff and bar staff were beautiful, unfortunately we, and everyone else in the dining room, could hear the kitchen staff yelling and swearing while we tried to enjoy our meals. There were families with young children in the room. It’s a shame because like I said the food and service were lovely.

Owner is a dead set grub of a person. Seems like he doesn’t know anything about common decency towards people. Avoid at all costs!

Called in here by default as the pub at redesdale was shut. Turned out to be a bonus as the food was great and the service was fast even tho it was busy. They had a good range of beers and they had their own carpark out the back which was handy as the main street was packed.

Had the roast lamb for dinner.wonderful.such a lovely array of roasted veggies and gravy was delicious. Can't rate it highly enough

Nice place, friendly staff. I was enjoying my meal until the scotch fillet got too chewy and grisly. Still, a nice evening was enjoyed.

Toto was very attentive and ensured we were comfortable and happy with our food. It was a lovely pub meal at great prices.

Shamrock Kyneton was wonderful, Toto is amazing he made sure that everyone was happy and comfortable, the food is delicious, big definitely going back from us

The Shamrock Hotel served us delicious food for a very reasonable price. We had the lamb roast, kids steak and kids fish and chips. All meals were greatly enjoyed. The dessert to follow was also great! I'd definitely come back

Noisy, overcooked steak, expensive. If it wasn't for the company it would have gotten 1 star. I asked for rare and got well done. Not ok when they have the ball to charge $40.
I'll never go back.

Shamrock Hotel is a very nice country pub. Good food, pleasant atmosphere and the bartender was very helpful with his wine selection and local knowledge.

We had an unfortunate experience at this venue, the meals took over 1 hour to arrive which is frustrating at best however our issue was more the location of our table. We were seated directly outside of the kitchen and the kicthen staff were loud, obnoxious and rude particularly to waiting staff when asking questions. A waitress had asked the kicthen about a meal due to a complaint (not our table) and the cook yelled extremely loudly they'll get there food when its ready, the entire could here. In trying to talk amongst ourselves we were constantly distracted by the language and aggression from the kitchen. Really disappointed with the atmosphere and the food was average. The wait staff were friendly however I don't think we will be back anytime soon.

Been here quite a few times for meal pickups through bottleshop. The portions has not disappointed and neither has the flavour from the salad dressing nor the parma toppings. Great work to the team

The renovations are finished and the results are fantastic. The food is pretty damn good and the service is spot on.

The atmosphere and wait staff were really nice and went out out of their way to give a great experience, the food was also good
