There's a complete lack of cohesion among staff, parents, and students. Disinterested staff make it an unfortunate choice for children's education.
This primary school is a breeding ground for bullying, with a glaring lack of supervision. Bullying incidents go unchecked, leaving students vulnerable and fearful. The staff's negligence in addressing these issues is appalling.

I believe this school has most things other schools don't, a corporative team of teachers. It has seemed that the bullying problems everyone is talking about has faded. It welcomes new teachers every year! Serpell is a great school and would definitely recommend.

The amazing A5 snow wagyu straight from japan was amazing as it was cooked on a cinderblock. We even got to shoot the wagyu with the SPAS-12 flame shotgun. I heart this school.

Oh boy was this school an experience, dunno what the shooting range everyone is talking about is, but great school. Except for the oval, make it a circle, now

My big mac came after 20 minutes of waiting but it was absolutely amazing, the sauce, the beef, the cheese, the lettuce and everything just tied this magnificent meal together. I am so satisfied. I love my miccyd's

For everyone mentioning the shooting range, dont use the m1 garand, use either the henry rifle, or the m4a1 carbine, if you are beginner, then use the 21 millimetre browner carter semi automatic quadruple barrel gattling gun.or the spas-12 shotgun.

Amazing rubbish pile, I used to play in it every lunch time. 10/10 would recommend.

Shooting range also top tier I would definitely go there again. There are many selections of rifles and bows to choose from.

A few short statements along with my review:
1. Big School
2. Access to the oval is amazing +
3. Canteen is okay
4. After School Care is good overall from my experience. +
5. Excellent staff and teachers +
6. Amazing learning environment +
7. Bullying isn't handled well. -

I was a student who graduated from here in 2021, with a total of 6 classes in my grade. I have made so many long lasting friendships from here as well. In every year, I had received a good teacher and I every time that I look back to this school I can remember so many of my good experiences.

There are many opportunities here that await if you are someone considering going here, and over my 7 year journey at this school, all but one of my teachers had stayed the whole time to see me graduate.

The high population of this school, (About 180 people in my year) has helped me with my social skills and I am more willing to talk to others and I overall feel more confident, and the amount of classes has only grown, with many younger grades having 7 classes too.

The learning system here was easy to understand for me personally, and I was able to participate in STS (Science Talent Search for Victoria), ICAS, ASPMO Math Olympiad, satisfactory results in NAPLAN Year 3 and do many more. Unfortunately my Year 5 NAPLAN was cancelled due to COVID-19. The learning program is very good for most people, but some, may not be able to keep up with the more academically suited, especially nearing the end of the school journey.

Interschool Sports in Year 5/6 is enjoyable, with a large clump of students to participate in every sport. In my experience, my grade was able to win many sports in the local district.

There is some drama and bullying during break, due to the high amount of students here. Bullying isn't very well handled, and there are some bad eggs. Every grade is different, after seeing some of the older grades above me go, new buildings get built, teachers coming and leaving, I think the school has improved a lot.

If you make sure you stick around the "right" people, Serpell is an amazing school with good teachers, the school is big but becomes very easy to navigate. Staff are excellent and I highly recommend coming here!

This school was scary. I was a student here. Not a nice place to read a book and recess and lunch. Some boy called Frank the an orange at me and broke my glasses and said i went from four eyes to no eyes. My mum could not afford new glasses so i had to tape them and got bullied about being poor. I could not read at all at my breaks but now I know I will never be sending my children here. Would not recommend. Very frustrated.

School is big, way too big. Not enough facilities and teachers to support the growth. As a result, alot of bullying and exclusion within the school as teachers are either can't look after every case or they just didn't know about them. A lot of inexperience teachers too and do not have a clue on how to settle conflicts.

This is a great school. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a fun, and great learning experience. I am a student in Year 6, and I have made many great friends since prep. Will be sad to leave.

Both my wife and I are experienced teachers with 50+ years experience each. Three of our grandchildren with Asperger's Syndrome attend this school and we have never experienced a school where staff — teachers, admin, aides, counsellors, etc — are so professional, thorough, aware and caring. This culture starts right from the top and pervades all levels of admin, teaching and support. Bullying — common for Autistic kids — is not tolerated and is addressed promptly and appropriately. Kudos to all involved.: D

Nah, this school does not do any major projects (like notables) to boost the children’s confidence and this school is always about winning when I was in this school
