Great wildlife! I saw kangaroos, wallabies, a turtle (!), and emus without having to even search for them.

Nice venue for walk in the midsts of some wildlife, it’s a free so don’t expect something like all the paid Zoos of weribee, Melbourne and healsville. Most of the development, maintenance work is done by amazing volunteers so I won’t disrespect their efforts by saying that it’s not maintained as other big 3.
If someone is complaining about maintenance please signup as volunteer and do your bit.

Also it has multiple covered areas for BBQ and sitting

Very good exhibits, we only saw half, can't wait to go back to see the rest. Picnic and BBQ facilities, and toilets too. Kids loved it.

You can walk very close to cangoroo, wallaby and other Australian animals. It seems to be into different tipical wild Australian places.

I'm visiting friends and I never saw so many beautiful birds with such vibrant colours. The kangaroos were being shy, but the wallabys made up for it.:)

Was here same time last year and was disappointed as it looked so neglected. It unfortunately is the same 12months later. Is a great place but could do with a little love. Saw many family groups enjoying the picnic and bbq areas

Beautiful and a place for birds to call home. Recommended to stay quiet and not annoy the birds. Definitely a must go place if you like birds.

Went here with a friend who had never been to Serendip Sanctuary before. As always it was a magical experience for her and I. Every time I go here I get a different and unique experience. This time the Kangaroos were being rather sociable as were the emus. We saw a masked own who opened it’s eyes and acknowledged our presence for a moment before going back to sleep. There were so many different birds that came out to show off to us. We even got very close to a very sleepy frog mouth owl. He was not going to awaken for anyone. Saw some ducks and geese too. To finish it all off we got farewelled by a family of wallabies. A most lovely experience for new and repeat visitors.

Visited here yesterday with three friends all interested in photography. Got some great shots while we wandered around the walkways and through the animal enclosures. Enjoyed visiting this nicely maintained wildlife sanctuary on a short visit to Geelong. Great place to see many Australian birds and other wildlife in a short period of time.

Great for a visit and to see some native wildlife. Lots of native birds. Only drawback is when people let children scare the animals. Paths can get a bit muddy after heavy rain, so avoid after heavy rainfall.

Great free place to go and see some Aussie animals. Perfect on a nice day if you want to have a picnic and a walk with the family.
