Sephora @ Northland reviews
33I was looking at a product and these young girls came up to me. I had the last item of that product and these so called Sephora girls snatched it out of my hand, mind you they were like 8. They were so rude so I snatched it back and all the items they had in there hands I took and put it on the top shelf so they can’t get it. 8 year olds. Disgusting how there parents don’t care.
Team members standing around looking bored and standing letting people wreck tester and not caring if people need help or not and maybe if team stop looking in mirror and fixing themself them maybe trying to help people might help. Lazy and loud and judging people come in to the store.
Not sure it a big deal for store to everyone one but I have better luck at kmart then sephora
Very wide selection of makeup products aswell as other cosmetics. Staff were attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back to top up.
Do your self a favor, and ask for Bee if you are hitting the Northland store. She is an absolute angel! She is such a knowledgeable, kind, compassionate being who has very strong customer centric approach. I for one, don’t know much about makeup and she is my go-to person now. She always have great recommendations and I now completely trust her as she has made my shopping experience oh-so-wonderful! Such an asset to the team!
Been in before and felt very comfortable because this guy helped me out and get a gift for my wife went in during the weekend to get his help again heard he resigned disappointed
I visited northland sephora today & i was greeted so kindly by a sales assistant, Madison. She was so helpful & listened to all my makeup and skin care needs. She was patient and overall amazing. If you ever need assistance at Sephora Northland, i recommend asking for her! Loved my experience
My first time in Sephora and the service was impeccable! Jess was patient and knowledgable, and i felt so comfortable. Above and beyond! Thanks Jess
The shop was loaded with some awesome branded products and the staffs were also very helpful. They were assisting the customers very well to find the right products.
On the weekend I visited Sephora Northland store. Initially feeling a little overwhelmed, I was promptly greeted by sales assistant ‘Madi’ who was so reassuring and helpful. She guided me through the product range and made recommendations on what product would suit my skin requirements - she was able to answer all my questions and definitely knew the benefits of all the products we explored. Thank you for making my experience worthwhile - cant wait to use my Ole Henrikson skincare products!
Frustrating!
This isn’t just an issue at this store, it’s a Sephora aus issue. Everything is ALWAYS sold out in every store in Melbourne and it’s getting extremely frustrating, on a number of occasions I’ve not even gone into the store and have instead gone to Mecca where I’m usually guaranteed stock. This is not just regarding very popular products, this is also the case with not so popular items. In addition, the staff at Sephora are either rude and completely ignore you, or they won’t leave you alone and ask if you need help every 30 seconds. The staff also seem to not know the first thing about the products they’re meant to be selling. Mecca staff are always so friendly and helpful and anticipate how popular items will be and order stock accordingly. Will continue to shop there
Poor service. Lot of staff for a friday and the store wasn’t busy. The staff just ignored me and keep on talking to each other and cracking jokes. When I asked kindly for help, they seemed annoyed… (I’m so sorry to be here!) Got relayed twice and had to deal with 3 different sale associates after I showed on my mobile which product I was after. I just needed help with color choices for my skin complexion… C’mon ladies you can do better! Smile a bit! Be playful with your customers! It’s Sephora, customers should feel beautify and excited. Instead I felt confused and disappointed as I got zero advice! Take example on your competitor Mecca, the staff there is always pleasant, available and you can feel they enjoy their environment.
Be careful not to browse near a worker packing cosmetics. She yelled. We felt attacked and were unsure why she was so rude
Omg, the best sales assistant at Sephora Northland, Ms. Loulou. She is the best. I visited the store last month and Loulou served me. She was so nice and advised me the best product and gave me what I wanted and was the right one. She matched my skin sooo well. And was happy with the product. And today I came back to buy the product that I wanted and was looking for a face mask, and there was one sales girl who was rude to me and did not care to help me out. And I went upto the counter and asked for help and there came my angel Ms. LOULOU, I was so happy to see her as last time I forgot to ask her name, but remembered her well. And was soo confident to get the face mask she will recommend. Omg she is the best. I will come in only if LOULOU is there. Thank you sooo much Loulou. Sephora Northland- Best advisor will be Ms. Loulou.
Just had the best experience with the staff there. Jaydan was AMAZING! He matched me correctly, made me feel incredible, was very kind, professional and made shopping for make up fun again. He really knows his makeup and what's best for your skin & tone. Thank you for making my day Jaydan. Will be highly recommending to everyone and looking forward to my next visit.:)
I’m so disappointed in the way this business runs. Yes everybody is nice but they truly don’t care for what you’re looking for. I spent a lot of money and I discussed everything that I need for my skin type. The only objective of the staff members is to upsell their product of the month. I wasted over $385 on products that have been the epitome of disaster for my skin. I asked for a primer, I was given a pore reducer. I asked for a spot treatment, I was given vitamin C oil, I asked for a light weight foundation, I was given a heavy coverage foundation/concealer that makes me look like a cake. The list goes on. I have no idea what to do with these products. I will never come back to this place. What a horrible experience.
I had an allergic reaction after I accidentally poked my eye with the mascara brush. The mascara on my other eye looked fantastic but you really shouldn't let customers buy testers.
Staff are prompt to answer the phone and help check stock levels. I called up before coming into the store today and was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding service. Jay is extremely knowledgeable of make up - application, lighting and picked the perfect product for me the first time. Jay also had a really good understanding of skincare - active ingredients, consistency and texture. I was recommended really good products and felt I had someone genuinely understand and address my concerns. Unfortunately the sunscreen was out of stock but I will be back.
Thank you so much!
I paid $150 for a make up lesson with their make up artist, everything went well until it was time for me to get the products worth 150$. The main reason i chose to do the lesson was coz i wanted to spend it on the priducts that i needed.
All product i had on my list were out of stock, i asked for a voucher they said they dont do that. They forced me to get products i didnt need coz apparently that was their only option.
Im so sad coz i didnt end up using those products, i jst bin them.
Why not ask the customer if she has a list of product she wld love to buy with the 150$ before starting the lesson? For some of us saving 150$ Can take up to 3months.
This is not good at all
Last week Mum and I visited for the first time to buy new make up. Steph helped us and she was AMAZING! I’m a complete novice when it comes to make up and she never made me feel stupid. She knew a lot about the products I was wanting and suggested other things I didn’t know about. I’m mid life and wearing the correct colour foundation for the first time ever and it looks awesome. We came away with a bag full of products each but it was pretty affordable considering I was starting from nothing. Hang on to Steph, she gave fantastic service and we look forward to coming back again for more!:)
Customer service is non existent at Sephora Northland Store. The overall staff is rude, especially the girl with bleach blonde hair who is EXTREMELY rude, hateful and judgemental. Don't work in customer based environment if you hate people so much. I would rather travel extra 20 mins to go to a different store than come here even though it's convenient.
