So happy to have found this authentic Cantonese style restaurant!

Definitely loved the pork chop in Peking sauce (702) and also the deep fried spicy pork chop (701) but all flavours were really authentic and not too salty!

Will definitely be back to try out their other dishes!

Waited 40 mins for 1 rice dish and 1 noodle dish on Thursday evening, added unwanted spring onion even if we made it clear during ordering. Food tastes good for the second star.

Authentic delicious Cantonese foods. My favourite 鱼香茄子肉碎饭. Go and support this local little gem - dine in or takeaway!

Been eating here for over 19 years and I'm amazed how consistently good the food has been over the years. Food here has always been priced reasonably given its proximity to Monash university. The deep fried spicy pork chops on rice (A1 on the menu) is a favourite of many that dine here. It's a no frills kind of place and I love it.

Taste is very consistent and delicious, and good value for money too. I know the food is really good when my girl goes there every time to order food and she cries when she eats it because it reminds her of home and family overseas when she's homesick.

I stopped going there probably around 2015 as one of the ladies who work there was so impolite and rude not only to me but to my guests. Then I was in the area recently and missed their food so I went there. The service is now nicer, food was (always) great and I believe it is cleaner. Will start going back again.

Amazing food! The waitresses are usually old ladies so please be patient. Highly recommend the scrambled egg with duck!

If you are after good affordable food, here is your daily canteen. If you are after fine dinning, please, do other people a favour, stop placing useless review and walk away.

We tried 4 dishes and everything was just so perfect. You pay $10-12 get the $30-$50 equivalent restaurant level.

Dumplings were awesome, but the rice wasn’t fresh and the satay chicken had less sauce and sweetness. The glass which I get for water was so tiny like a tea glass: the payment was made before food. Overall experience wasn’t good. Every time I had to ask for tissue or sauce.

Authentic traditional Cantonese food. The owner serves you well. Same cantonese chefs for years and years. Best value in Caulfield. I always leave a tip cos I reckon they under charge. Always bring wine, no corkage charge!

The food is just mediocre, the staff is constantly busy, however try to cater for everyone. They are older so it's understandable that they can be a little slow at serving so that is fine. I have tried the roast duck with egg omelette but did not expect the omelette to be egg gravy. It's not as expected but it still tasted OK. Price is quite steep for the portion you are getting.

Pork chop on rice is delicious. Never changed for years. Affordable and clean restaurant. Hot and sour soup is the best.better than other chinese restaurant.

Been here more than about a dozen times and never disappoints. Love the spicy chicken on rice and chicken fried rice. Generous portions, very cheap and affordable.

Food is good, but what impressed me was the service. It's owner run, and the lady who served us was the owner. Her resto has been around for ages and she's always friendly, and warm despite how busy they are. It's heartening to note that service is still great after all these years. Simple yummy chinese food, which reminds you of homecooked ones (their spicy fried chicken on rice is delicious) coupled with genuine friendly service is hard to come by. Which explains why patrons keep going back for more. 5 star service!

Bad experience. Fried chicken is dry, place is dirty and they charge you extra $1 for card decline. Won't come back ever again.

Excellent food. Has not changed in 18 years. Popular with students. My favourite duck with scrambled eggs on rice.
