Selina Central Melbourne

Awesome for a a group of friends. Clean, friendly staff and unbelievably good location. Right in the middle of Melbourne CBD opposite Flinders Station. Would recommend!

My partner had a job interview in the city, so we stayed with Selina.
This is what we found:
- The team was positive, helpful & aided us in every way they could.
- They stored our bags/highly valued items SAFELY before & after check out. So we could move around the city.
- The room was clean & neat.
- The Bed was VERY comfortable with decent pillows.
- The bathroom/toilet was clean and very easy to manage.
- Utilised space to be able to hang clothes etc also.
- Communal spaces were AMAZING! Comfortable & causal also.

- The location is perfect, right near trams & great food spots.

I cannot fault a single thing about this spot, I recommend it highly to all ages.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. The interiors are so beautiful, the kitchen and common areas are so relaxing and full of plants and the staff are the best (so friendly and welcoming)! I would 100%% recommend this place, plus it’s in such a good location across from flinders street station and near tram lines. Beautiful lane way with cafes next to the hotel for that Sunday morning coffee.

They promote free towels and air condition in their website but when I arrived they wanted to charge me for the towel and there was a just a fan. I’ve been in others Selina’s hostels and this one is the worst of them.

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night as we just wanted a night out. This place was amazing and I found it to be such a nice vibe!

We would highly recommend to others who just want to get away for a bit. It was very close to lots of restaurants and only a 2 minute walk to flinders street station and lots of trams.

Wished we had stayed more nights after finding out about the movie cinema room that is free available for people to use and also their “hidden bar” that’s down stairs was the perfect space to relax!

We had a small issue with our room, but we told reception and with no hassle at all they offered us a refund which we are thankful for.

Either way, we highly recommend this place to anyone and staff are so friendly

Christopher at reception was very friendly and helpful. Always asked me how my day was and went out of his way to print a document for me which I feel like most hotels wouldn’t even do.
Quiet, very clean rooms, showers and toilets as well!

What an amazing place to stay. Sam, the sweetest and the most enthusiasts manager in the city, would make your stay even special. They also have an amazing shared kitchen space and a cinema room that's totally free to use for the customers.

Excellent! It was only the soft opening, but what a super friendly team, and what a great place to stay! I have a dog, so it’s tough to find accommodation, but the staff could not have been more friendly. There are rooms available with and without private bathrooms, but if I’m upfront, I preferred the communal bathrooms, they are way bigger and have better showers, and there are plenty of them, so you don’t have to wait. They have a cinema room with bean bags and an excellent communal kitchen and library. But the coolest of all is the basement bar and pool room! This is definitely a place for the younger adventurous traveller looking to meet new friends along the way or anyone that has a dog and does not want to deal with the bullsh&t regular hotels put you through.

Very good stay. Carlos was amazing, helped me out at a minutes notice, and answered all my questions, he was so lovely. Close to Flinders St station, but tucked away - which was good.
