Selina Central Melbourne

Had such a great stay at selina, the location is great right in the heart of the CBD and the staff is truly the best. Dutch Lara has been especially helpful and lovely to chat with whenever she’s down at the front desk. Highly highly recommend staying:)

The hotel has a great location, but the overall value for money is too low. The male receptionist's service attitude is also poor. They always maintain that according to the company's regulations, it’s not flexible. There are better options for hostels.

Maddy at the front desk was the absolute best! She made checking-in incredibly easy and smooth. I felt very welcomed right off the bat. Plus, when I lost my room key she was very helpful and resolved the situation immediately for me. I highly recommend Selina. Thanks Maddy!

Great location. In front of Flinders Street St and tram station. So many food places and stores.
Yoga classes everday. Welcome drink. Cinema room.

A phenomenal atmosphere in the bar downstairs, great service, great music, and a great time. A nice ambient temperature, bring your people for a wiggle if your feeling frisky. Wonderful bartenders, good looking with good things to say. Check out the tiles behind the bar, if one fell of the wall I’d jump the bar to steal it. Very interesting art hanging on the walls, and some nice plant life also, Not sure if they are real plants, but that’s a good sign if you ever wanted one. Ran into Donnie Jepp which was a nice surprise. He bought me a few drinks and we played smooth jazz until the wee hours of the morning.

Selina is a great place to stay. It is very conveniently located close to public transport. The staff is very friendly. Thank you very much to Dominick who is a bartender and he is very nice.

A place for all to bathe in a warm welcoming atmosphere, supreme service from Nathan along with transcending music combined creates the perfect night out in Melbourne CBD at “Selina Central Melbourne”

Amazing hotel! Everything very clean and the staff very attentive. I am very satisfied, I will definitely come back.

The rooms, kitchen, bathroom are all excellent and the cleaning staff does an outstanding job.

Although, the staff itself, at least most of them, amongst with the majority of guests I found, are unbelievably needy for attention, clingy and do not know how to respect boundaries nor privacy.
Also nosy and politely rude (staff).

If you want to meet people it's your place, but if you just want to be chill, on your own, maybe I don't recommend this to you.

Nevertheless, I have to say I had a pleasant enough stay, because, somehow, I always manage to be good on my own.

Good location in the centre of Melbourne. A little noisey on Saturday night with drunk crowds and sirens outside but to be expected of that sort of location. Comfy rooms with clean bathrooms. Friendly staff and good customer service.

The whole place had a great groove to it! Had a pool table as well!

There are just two toilets in women's restrooms. Place is quite nice, clean? And people in front desk are ok but some of them aren't as good as others. You get a house tour but in a rush and nobody teach you how use the stove which doesn't work with all pans or pots they have.

Kitchen utensils aren't enough for so many people and doesn't have other things like an air fryer, didn't see a freezer or a blender. Forks were always missing whenever I need to eat my meals and fridges where always full of people's groceries but really messed up because sometimes my bag of groceries wasn't where I left it.

A better organization in the kitchen, more toilets and nicer girls in front desk would be a better experience for sure.

The hostel life in Melbourne is absolutely horrendous. Finding a good lodging is not only a head ache but finding a reasonable price is going to kill me. Then Selina saved me. This place is a mystical beauty of sorts. Come find out if you’re not afraid ;)

This is NOT a review for the accommodation but their basement bar howm, excellent service from the German chick behind the bar I was here on a Tuesday when it was quiet so It must be popular Friday and Saturday night

This is a very affordable hotel with very close local transportation facilities. Fully accessible for wheelchair user. Wheelchair accessible washroom and shower room available. Food court available. Pub and restaurant available. Good place to stay with friends and family. All the basic amenities available. Very near to local market food court and shopping facilities available nearby.

Great bed, great kitchen, great design.
Loved the cinema room, dining/lounge area and the fact it's in the heart of Melbourne.everything is close by!

Stayed in a private room for 4 days, awesome location, fantastic bar and very helpful staff, down to earth, will stay again when I'm back in Melbourne 10/10 highly recommend.
Ps the Saturday I stayed, there was a redbull sponsored bboy competition on had a great time.

This place is beautiful, I was very impressed, the staff were so nice and helpful, the decor is beautiful and the beds are so comfortable. I would highly recommend this place, best hostel Ive been to in Australia. Love love love
