Security Plus Shutters & Blinds - Roller Shutters & Security Doors Melbourne

I was initially concerned about having to pay the bulk of the bill “upfront” (as was the concern of another reviewer) but was reassured when a “very good job” was done and the screen doors and internal shutter were completed as quoted.
George initially quoted and he was terrific (we almost had to tell him to to go home, he certainly wasn’t in a rush)! Throughout the process the company kept us informed as to when the installer would arrive and also when the shutters were in transit due to problems at the port. We are really happy with this company from the quotation point, all the way through the installation process and strongly recommend them as an organisation particularly when other companies wouldn’t even “turn up” to quote the job. My husband has a low tolerance for delays and he was also happy despite having the job done in two parts (initially for the security doors and later, the internal shutter). Thank you for being a good business to deal with and having professional staff throughout the process!

Salesperson gave us a well tailored and competative quote, organisation was professional, showroom indicated they knew their stuff, installation occurred as was promised. Can't ask for much more.

I recently purchased 5 roller shutters and couldn't be happier with the service. From the beginning everyone was very professional and helpful. The shutters look fabulous and they were delivered and installed when promised.
I have also previously purchased a security door and fly screens from this company, same great service and 5 years later, I haven't had any issues with the products.

Loved the whole experience. From booking with Serge, to measure, pay and install. Our home looks amazing and everyone was so lovely to deal with.

I had a very frustrating experience with SP Shutters Doors and Blinds. After quoting reasonably quickly they said they had to come back to re-measure and then ask for an extra 250 for a door jamb. I should have walked away then but was already out of state. For the next few weeks I tried to get feedback as to progress of the order, the install date, etc but all communication was ignored. Once install was underway it took three separate attempts for Nik to install due to various issues of production of doors. Left hand doesn't seem to know what the right hand is doing in this business - if you want a competent job with good customer experience give them a wide berth.

SP have been great for customer service from start to finish. My experience was very good. Staff were polite, and professional, from sales to measuring, then installation. They rechecked everything with me and were very fussy doing the installation to make sure I was happy. I had follow up emails. Receipt emails. I never had to do the follow ups. Quality of door was exactly as hoped. The triple locking system makes me feel really secure and love that I can see out but nobody can see in. Thanks SP.

First of all i would like to say Thankyou to Mark who came out to my home and gave me a honest and affordable deal. I would also like to thank Colette, Tanya, Kathy and all of Sp staff from the first phone call to booking in for measurements to progress payments to the final installation with Ash. Ash the installer was amazing fast efficient and on the job within 3 hrs 6 shutters were up.

5 star service this company deserves Sp was recommended to me by my uncle and im so glad i called i love my shutters best 7 thousand dollars ive ever spent.

Make sure you read reviews before proceeding with your orders.something i wish I did.
There is a complete and utter lack of communication, follow-up or even service after you proceed with your booking. I have tried countless times to get information regarding when I can expect my blinds.but ZILCH no-one ever comes back to you. Take your business elsewhere there a plenty of blind places you can go to who will call you back at least. Now I wonder how where these blinds are?

Don't even consider this business for anything! Has been the worst decision I have made. I never go for the cheapest quote but in this case I wish I did. The initial contact was great, sales guy was very informative but from then on a disaster. Broken window, poor installation/workmanship, scratched/dented shutters, poor customer service, the list goes on. Numerous requests for rectification and no call back, the only correspondence was to pay the invoice. When finally the owner came out most issues were addressed 18 months later. It took 6 visits to rectify one shutter. This is the first review I've ever posted, I believe that you can't please everyone but as a previous business owner I had no choice. I hope this business can use this feedback as means to build a better reputation.

Security plus, I don't want to bag this company, as it wasn't all bad the guy who installed our roller shutters was great, but then it came to getting power to them unfortunately that's when it all went down hill, the company knew we may have had a problem with getting power to them, so they sent out an electrician no problem so we went ahead with the order, we had to wait two days after the installation for the electrician, the guys that came out put five holes in the walls three in one room and two in the other we have since found out the holes didnot need to be there, a lack of experience because they sent out apprentice's not the original electrician, so they decided to send out the (best electrician) they had who had it sorted with in 15 minutes good job two wks after the blinds were installed we blame the company for not sorting this problem sooner how ever we are happy with our blinds but Iam falling short of saying thank you because this was a stressful experience for us this story could gone on longer as it was so bad but job done now

I had two windows shutters installed with Security Plus. I could not contact the salesman again after I put down the deposit, but I managed to sort out the appointments by calling the office. H.the installer and his partner were very good with the installation. They had good skills and they made sure everything was perfect. The price was quite good too. There were some mix up with the billing and they didn't take the money at the start but that eventually get sorted out by calling the office again. So the company is not perfect, but I will use them again if I need to install more window shutters in the future, especially if I can get the same installer to do the job again).

WORST SERVICE. STAY AWAY.
It's almost 12 weeks since ordered and yet there is no confirmation on installation date and neither the company ever call/update you further no matter you call them yourselves every single day.

I went in to the showroom to look at the selection of roller shutters and security doors about a month ago. I gave my details for a measure and quote to happen for my house.
I got told I would be contacted to organise a time that best suited me early the next week.

A month later. Still no call.

Service was good at first. But Very disappointed after paid. Placed order more than 3 months. Been waiting for 8 weeks for installation after final measurement. On 7/5/2019 someone rang to inform about installation date will be made on 18/5.
In 15/5 I rang company to pay balance due and confirm installation time. Staff said will get installer text me to confirm the time. On 17/5 I rang again because no one text me. A staff said roller blind has not arrived until next eeek and no booking for installation on 18/5. What? How long I have to wait for? Last month sales person just told me roller was in production process. What I can do now? Just wait?
