$30 Souvlakis - Yes you read that correctly. Fish and Chip shop style food for fine dining prices. Would not recommend

The meat was flavourless and very burnt. But that’s the least of my concern I can’t leave the bathroom very painful gut and it’s now 6am I feel like I might end up in hospital. Sorry I don’t really post reviews before but I think the owner needs check make sure meat is safe.

I’d suggest not doing take away delivery if the standard can’t meet the price point.

We had the banquet for two and it was amazing. So much food, we couldn’t finish and got our desserts as takeaway. Overall so yummy and service/staff were excellent!

Great food with two young girls waiting that both did a fantastic job. Poor kids were ran off their feet. Would have been five stars otherwise

Overpriced, small portions, the meat platter is hardly a meat platter, more rice, vegetables or chips than meat, the local fish and chip shop souvlaki is nicer and a quarter of the price for the same amount of meat.go there and don’t waste your time here

Food quality is good but abit disappointed in serving size. Order takeway. Got trio of dips and literally probably only 1 tablespoon of each dip was given.

Great service. Very delicious food. Perfect night out. Highly recommend. Apparently the lamb is very beautiful (family loved). Also must try the galaktoboureko absolutely delicious!

OMG' What can i say, Food was AMAZING! And the service is beyond expectation, how lovely are all the waitress.and the drinks.how generous with the alcohol lol.i got so drunk with 1 drink we will be back with bigger gangs!

We had a wonderful dining experience. The staff were polite and efficient, as they had to be, trying to handle two sittings under Covid restrictions. The mixed platter and lamb salad platter were absolutely delicious and of generous proportions. The meat and calamari were beautifully barbecued, in the best Greek tradition, and the salad was fresh, with a generous sprinkling of lamb. The wine list is limited and fairly pricey, but the wines are of very good quality. It would benefit from the addition of a couple of good, cheaper wines, especially considering its "taverna" status. The ambience is typically Greek, lively and happy. One of Frankston's best restaurants.

Came to your restaurant tonight 27.02.2021 ordered Nick's banquet which we order straight on sitting down on arrival.
Started ok but lengthy wait for dips and bread. Drinks took forever.
Before we even finished the last of the entrees the table next to us had ordered 2 meat platters which one was served to us. The waitress asked if we had started to eat when she realised she had served the wrong one and indicated she was going to swap it. Then said if we were happy we could have their platter and our banquet one with the seafood could go to their table?
I approached another staff member and told her what happened and they came and took it away ONLY TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE KITCHEN AND I BELIEVE WAS RETURNED STRAIGHT BACK THE THE TABLE NEXT TO US.
When we finally after being there for 2 hours got our meat & seafood platter SERVED COLD and was the worst part of the meal.
We then decided enough is enough and left. When we went to pay it was the waitress that got it all wrong didn't offer to give us our dessert or even anything to make up for the stuff up. $133.88 later for something we couldn't even finish, surcharge $1.98? For what it wasn't explained to us and $12 for half a glass of wine.really, stubby of Carlton Draught a joke at $9.90. I guess you can probably guess we wont be back and we will share this terrible experience with all our friends too.
Sorry wish I could rate it lower.

Amazing value, we paid $49 a head at a family event and got so much great tasting authentic Greek food. Would highly recommend this place service was fantastic to.

I’ve ordered twice now for delivery. Living in Lyndhurst which is a good 20 minute drive, I think the quality of the food is fantastic. The lamb was delicious, the Greek veggies full of flavour. Looking forward to eating in. Portion size totally acceptable for the price considering the price of lamb shoulder can be over $20.00kg. Ignore the whiners because the food is delicious.

I picked up the order, it was pretty quick. We would've liked to dine in but due to Covid it's not possible but the staff were very friendly.

Food was well presented and loved the extra touch with the personal note.

Flavours were great, calamari was amazingly cooked. Saganaki was good, Greek salad was fresh and yum, the meat platter for two was a good size and well cooked with plenty of flavour. Chips were still crispy. Only thing that was a slight let down was the quantity of the trip of dips, there could have been a bit more.

Ill be back for sure.

Nice Greek cuisine in middle of Frankston. Had the banquet which gave a nice sampling of numerous dishes. Some of the lamb maybe a little overcooked but overall a beautiful meal. Tuesday night visit, so not overly busy. The solo musician playing greek music on accoustic guitar added some nice subtle atmosphere. So many meats in the main meal that we couldn't get through it but got to take it away. Great meal and nice to be able to go out like an adult again after lock down.

New to the area decided to try this place as my husband’s Greek.ordered a souvlaki takeaway away paid $38.00 and it was all lettuce and tzatziki tiny bit of meat which was so dry, wouldn’t recommend this place for Authentic Greek food

I ordered for the first time tonight dips trio and yogurt well omg twice wrong order still left with wrong order that is not edible for me rang restaurant multiple times young lady I spoke to was lovely feel sorry for her as she will have angry customers when I spoke to owner rude as told me to contact Uber can’t reimburse me first and last order from me

I wish I could rate them lower. Over priced, cold food. We got our food delivered which was a 50min wait. We ordered 2 mix platters, 2 saganaki’s (which were deep fried, and everyone knows you don’t deep fry saganaki!) and extra pita bread. We only received 1 piece of pita bread to share between 5 people. There was a hair in a skewer and the overall taste of the food was very disappointing.if you want a tasty dinner without wasting your money, STAY AWAY!

I ordered the swordfish with a friend on menu log about a month ago it was SO GOOD, so we went down tonight to get the same thing.
This time the fish didn’t come as a skewer and the fish was inedible - SO tough, rubbery and yuck. It had the consistency of a steak. Really, really disappointed and annoyed. Not at all worth $30.
This has totally put us off and we’d never be back

Ordered the take away banquet for 2 plus a couple of extra sides. Was a busy Saturday night. Food was delayed slightly. Staff very apologetic. Luckily it was well worth the wait. Everything was perfect. Would highly recommend the Seagull.
