Scully's Oyster Bar and Grill

Seafood Chowder and the Pork Ribs were ordered with wines to suit. Both meals were amazingly delicious and of exceptional quality. I'm returning to order the same, take photos and write some more.so impressive.friendly service too.

The location right on the wharf at Queenscliff is just superb. The food was sensational (particularly the seafood) and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Looking forward to my next visit.

You often ask myself how places like this manage to stay open. I suppose they rely on unsuspecting tourists like ourselves. The food and service was terrible. My son’s meal: worst fish and chips I have ever had, no flavour. Our seafood platter was terrible. Crab had no meat, fish overcooked, calamari no flavour.and no lemons. Seafood place that does not serve lemons. Salad was oiled but no dressing. Do not waste a cent here!

Good location. Most of the produce on both the Hot ($60) and Cold ($65) Seafood Platters tasted fresh.
Oysters Kilpatric was over cooked as you can see in the photo but the Natural ones I really enjoyed.
Our rating is tempered by the price and the service. If you like the occasional bite of seafood fare, this might be right up your alley. However, if you are like me and hunt for great seafood Platters, the photos speak for themselves.

Great location but the food was poor quality. Over cooked meat in the burger and the chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Disappointing overall.

Judge for yourself. Some bad reviews here but we went anyway and glad we did! Staff friendly and helpful, oysters delicious, one very small, chowder in a cob loaf was really nice!

Terrible food. Pathetic looking fish and chips. Sauces tasted sour and on the turn. Would not recommend!

As I used to work here, I recommend people to not waste you're money. The place is a mess, staff are underpaid, kitchen is always filthy and food not stored correctly which could end up getting people sick. Chef is extremely rude and doesn't know proper hygiene to be serving food.

Friendly staff unfortunately oysters are very small and they try to charge u $ 4.50 each. Its honestly not worth the money ur paying. This place has amazing opportunity to be great but for an "Oyster bar and grill" place the foold is bellow average. Disappointing.

Service was ok but food was terrible. Couldn’t even finish the platter I was served as the prawns were dry etc.the batter smelled terrible and Scillies were all oily.spat the last mouthful back into a serviette and left. Don’t bother people.

Really poor meal today. Overcooked meals, no milk for drinks, sour flavour to dips and sauces, this is a poor standard.

Fantastic oysters and burgers. The marinara was OK and the schnitzel a little bland. Good service and a great view.

Amazing food, super friendly staff and although it was busy, the food came out to us very fast!
Will definitely be returning and telling others

Do yourself a favour and don't go there. I wanted to get my stomach pumped when I walked out of there. The fish was leather and the seafood chowder was like an white sauce with no taste and the bread was inedible. I couldn't even eat it - my husband could but he has a cast iron stomach.

We went for lunch on Sunday 25th February. The Restaurant is a joke. Save yourself grief and money and go somewhere else!

We went here with friends on NYE. To be fair our friends say both the food & service is normally way better. I ordered a barramundi & was expecting a whole barramundi but basically i got a fillet not much bigger than a fish finger. I ended up ordering a bowl of prawns as well because i was still hungry. They were tasty. I thought the table service was pretty poor though staff were friendly. I think they were understaffed. We will try again at another time that isnt so busy but this time we were v disappointed as we'd previously heard good reviews.

Food was good but service was appalling. Waitresses were walking around with blinkers on and not interested in serving anyone. After trying to get their attention for 30 or so mins we left and went to a venue where drinks were actually served. They said they were understaffed - there were approx. 12 customers present!
