Sally was just wonderful in knowledge and hospitality. Bought all the wines on the front pages of tasting selection. And the muscat gin, just with ice quite wonderful.

This is a must see!
Lovely cellar door, very relaxed vibe.
All staff were very knowledgeable and passionate about what was on offer.
Was very hot day but they had the misters going so was very lovely sitting outside.

Alyssa was very welcoming and friendly on a rainy Friday, she provided a wealth of information about the area in addition to recommendations. The tasting was enjoyable with a variety of wines from white to muscat to red, well worth a visit if your after something less traditional and lighter. Definitely recommend if your in Rutherglen!

Really great experience, you will need close to an hour for the wine tasting experience and they are so great!

Scion provided what has been one of my most favourite tasting experiences. Gorgeous, unique wines paired with fantastic conversation intermingled with highly knowledgeable local tips and suggestions.

'Young and fun' winery. They know their stuff and a trying different takes on old favourites. Staff have been very well hired and trained; if you are looking for a different, slightly sassy take on wine - with genuine craft knowledge to boot - it's definitely worth getting to Scion. I loved the 'After Dark' wine.

Great service. Very modern winery and cellar door with about 7 wines available for tasting. I went mid-week and just called in (no booking). The tasting was $10, which could be redeemed with a purchase of 3+ bottles of wine.

Tastings cost $10 which you can redeem when you purchase. The tasting was casual, informative and she was so friendly. Great wines too. We couldn't resist and bought more than a few bottles

Scion wines are delightful, and it was a real privilege to have a tasting with a winemaker who is so passionate about their wines, techniques, and history.

Fantastic cellar door, well designed with great staff to talk through fantastic wines! Highly recommend a visit, we dropped in by chance and had a really great time. Looking forward to returning.

Funky winery with a good tasting selection. Pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Lovely area to sip some wines, both indoor or outdoor. Some excellent wines, $10 tasting fee waived upon purchase, which I most certainly did. 5 minute drive from Rutherglen.

Luanne was a fantastic wine connoisseur, she was so friendly and warm, had great food recommendations for each wine even depending on if you were vegetarian or not! Scion was a highlight of the wineries we visited in the area due to its unique nature.

A fantastic winery, nestled on a gentle slope just on the edge Rutherglens township.
We visited on a Tuesday and Sally was more than enthusiastic about their wines, the family history if winemaking and even some delectable little food offers with the tasting.
Certainly bought some wines and will reorder accordingly!

I spoke with Sally on the phone to organise a gift for my outgoing boss who had gone into the winery. Not only did sally help me who is a total wine dunce but she remembered my boss' preferences from when she had gone into the winery. Service was outstanding, experience was flawless! I could not speak more highly of the team at Scion. They made the whole process so effortless. I would order from them again and I know my boss is a customer for life.
