Savera Indian and Nepalese Restaurant

I didn't realise Indian food could be bland until tonight. It's like the food is toned down for Aussies, far from the delicious food I had in India. There are better Indian restaurants in the area. The staff were nice however.

Ordered the super pack for family dinner and the range of dishes was awesome. Best value and quality of food I have had ever. Have dined in previously and service is impressive.

This restaurant is absolutely magnificent.

Ordered for take away butter chicken, white rice and 2x naan bread. Naan bread were enormous, very generous portions for the main and came out piping hot as well. The young lady at front of house was very friendly & even brought my food outside to me as I was on my phone. Pricing is VERY reasonable, great quality ingredients & sublime flavours. I'll be returning frequently as well as recommending Savera to everyone I know.

Sensational food and a great atmosphere. We had the banquet and had heaps of the best indian food. The staff were very friendly and the service was exceptional. I would highly recomment this restaurant and want to go again soon.

Havent had a good indian food for long long time, but this place is awesome, so delicious food and family environment.

The dishes we shared (a spinach paneer, veggie korma and dhal, with rice and garlic naan) were all lovely and the staff super friendly. Enjoyed the same high standard of food and service perhaps a year ago. Will happily return when in the area!

Ordered through menulog and took almost 2 hours to arrive! If you want food at dinner time I suggest ordering McDonalds delivered. They should have just said it wasn't available. No apologies no nothing! Not good enough!

Great food (frankly the best Indian food in Lilydale), but for once really tardy service. Had to wait over an hour for our (one) meal whilst the people who arrived after us actually completed their whole meal. Clearly busy with take away orders but geez.poor excuse that we ordered an entree (but also forgot a component) so that's why our meal was late. Over hour between an entree and 1 main? Lucky we didn't order desert.

Beautiful food and amazing service. We ordered what we thought was just enough, but needed to bring some home. Looking forward to lunch.

Food was great. Only down side was they forgot one thing from our order. But to their credit when I called to let them know about the mistake they offered to from it off strait away.

This a great informal but nice restaurant. Quality regional cuisine, wine list and byo, child friendly, neat rest rooms. The staff are lovely and work to create a cozy relaxed environment that is easy and chilled. Easy parking, close to Lilydale railway station. Give this a go, I just have been enjoying this place for years.

The staff at the front counter was a bit arrogant.
We called in to place a takeaway order. We were told to allow 30 minutes. When we went in to the restaurant after 25 minutes, the lady arrogantly told us the order us already been ready for a while. Upon telling her that we were told to wait 30 minutes, she replied with a smug face “ yeah we tell that to everyone”

We had ordered Nepali momos, but they were no where close to the original taste. I’d say gurkhas cafe in the CBD and mom station does a far better job.
We also ordered dal makhani and roti which were okay- ish.
The dal had too much of raw tomato in it.
