Plenty of great coffee choices for a neighbourhood café, the service are always super friendly and consistent.
Long wait time during weekends are quite understandable tho given the sheer length of queue.

Good amount of filling and a decent size sandwhich, definitely worth the price and good value for money. Would have liked some pickle or something acidic on the pastrami and the parma was just ever so slightly underwhelming taste wise

Delicious porchetta and sauce wedged into a fresh roll, can a sandwich get any better than this? This place is worth the wait. Or come before 11 and just warm up the sandwich in the oven at home later!

The tuna melt, the eggplant parma, the prochetta.so so good! The Vietnamese iced coffee needs to be stronger though, it is after close to Koornang Road. But a great little cafe for sandwiches.

Looked great from the outside but turns out they have very few vegetarian options. Carnivores rule.

Nice coffee but really $18 for a pre-made I don’t get the hype, clearly I’m wrong based on its popularity

Giving this one a fat 5 stars (somewhat biased). American style deli with a menu worthy of spending your tax return on. Welcomed with energy and a smile to match. Get yourself down to Saul's.

Awesome little spot with a great vibe and team. The roast porchetta was delicious and a great size. Nice job

Sandwich was filling, but nothing wow. Lack flavours let alone a long wait to get cold meat pastrami that was supposedly toasted.

Waited half an hour at 1pm on a Saturday for a room temperature sandwich with hardly any flavour. I was so disappointed after reading all the good reviews. The flavours were unoriginal and lacked any soul. The cheese wasn’t even melted in the pastrami sandwich and the Napoli in the chicken parm had no tomatoey zing. Such a shame.

Tried Saul's in Carnegie after reading an article in Broadsheet. It was very disappointing. We ordered the Parm and bacon and egg roll and waited 10 minutes for them to be toasted as they only have one machine to toast their pre-made sandwiches. Both were extremely bland - no flavour at all. They definitely lacked something. I decided to give them another try on a Friday, however this time the wait was 20mins! I got the Tuna melt which, again, had absolutely no flavour. I'm unsure why they have such good reviews, perhaps I attended on two off days. However my local cafe does a better bacon and egg roll! In terms of service, given they had people waiting for 20mins for $16 sandwiches, you'd think they'd invest in more ovens so they could toast their pre-made sandwiches quickly!

Exquisite sandwiches overflowing with yummy fillings. Be prepared for a wait but it’s well worth it!

Don't listen to the Yelp reviewers on here, they are far too picky.

The sandwiches are all great, packed with flavour, and a half of one will fill most people up. The coffee is cheap and it's good. Saul's isn't a top-end cafe but the standard is better than many places down Koornang Rd that say they are.

To me paying $15 for a large sandwich packed with flavour isn't a reason to give 4 stars but a reason to keep coming back. If you want a cheap average focaccia for $10 then go somewhere else!

Poor service- I had to wait over 25 mins for the sandwich when everyone else that had ordered after me received theirs. On enquiring, was told that they had to ‘cook the chicken’. Strange the wait times wasn’t mentioned at the time of purchase. The Caesar chicken sandwich tasted so very average with an over powering taste of salty cheese. At the end, it was overpriced, tasted average and poor service with no apologies offered. Of course no one else has faced this issue and hence the high rating, but not for me thanks.

$13 for a tiny little one dimensional McMuffin with an overcooked hash brown and some type of trie hard vegan patty the size not much bigger than a 50 cent- unfortunately disappointing: - (

Partner’s sandwich was soggy as though it was overnight I. The refrigerator

Had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately after quite a looooong wait (15 mins in line- 30 mins for order to be ready) the pastrami sandwich was cold in parts and cheese not properly melted. Was a little disappointing.

: The ultimate sandwich bar on Neerim Road, Carnegie. There’s a range of daily sangas available for all of you, including vegans as well.

️: How delicious do these look. My favorite had to be the Panko Eggplant Sandwich with buffalo Mozzarella, brocolli rabe, and roast peppers.

Vegan Meatball Sub is unreal, one of the best Vegan sandwiches I've had.

Coffee is grouse as well.

Their sandwiches are just so balanced. Peep the cross sections: tightly packed, protein, veggies and sauce all mingling, and stacking together to give your tastebuds a real awakening.

The bread is great, not sure who does it but they do it well.

The limited offerings are always tempting, but you can’t really go wrong. Expect a food coma after it tho.

Don’t go pass the cream puffs either, perfect happy end, not ultra sweet like they often can be.

Excellent sandwiches, but you definitely need deep pockets. Also, you want to get here early if you want to grab your favourite sandwich, as they do sell out quickly. The sandwiches are on the large side as well.
