Sassy Thai Ringwood

Great food - lovely presentation, delicious and plenty of it! Service - poor. Took forever to take our orders, and then were rushed at the end as they wanted to close. No offer of tea or coffee.
Not sure we will be back.

Ordered delivery, the Mixed Seafood, the dish was 3 prawns well cooked and three chewy mussels. Disappointing.

This Thai restaurant was strongly recommended in a local area Facebook group, and I live close by so of course I had to try. I had a Pad Thai with veg and tofu, and roti with satay sauce. Can confirm the food was absolutely delicious. The owners must know how good their house made satay sauce is because they sell it in store by the bottle. Pad Thai is always a safe bet, but this one was excellent, balanced and full of flavour. Although the food and service were excellent, the atmosphere is sadly similar to the kind of suburban Asian restaurant I spent my 90s childhood in, with its carpeted floors and ageing clientele - it’s not trendy. However we ARE in the suburbs so perhaps it’s my expectations that are wrong. Maybe not a place I’d take friends to dine in at, but with food this good, I’ll be eating here regularly for sure.

Beautiful little Thai place with great service and such delicious food! Fantastic meals all round and reasonable prices. We will definitely come back.

A hidden gem! The food was absolufely delicious and we tried a variety of dishes, which were all made to perfection. Tried the Red Curry with Chicken, was full of flavour with balanced spice level. The Saasy Thai Sizzing Beef was a bit chewy but the sauces the dish was cooked in was good. The Lamb Shank Massaman was cooked to perfection with pieces falling off the bone with a slightly sweet flavour. The Pork Belly Stir Fry was as expected, could taste the fat and had the crunchiness around the pork pieces. The Charcoal Grill Chicken Gai Yang was also delicious and the sauces paired beautifully with the tender chicken pieces.
Authentic Thai flavours and generous serving sizes, coupled with friendly and fast service. The beautiful interior decor also adds vibrance and classiness to this restaurant. Must try if you are after some fresh and satisfying meals!

We dined in for our 6 year anniversary.food was good but service needs improvement our roti bread entree came out second last and our side of rice came out first. One main came out 10 mins after the rice so rice was cold and at the end of the night we accepted the fact that we weren’t getting our other main. Just before we leave the other main comes out and was told it was misplaced twice. Place wasn’t even half full. So had to ask for a takeaway container which was quite disappointing since we paid for a restaurant experience.

I am new to the area, my partner highly recommended Sassy Thai for our Sunday take away.

Her recommendation was spot on. My previous Thai restaurant was Knoxfield Thai, they set the bar very high, and Sassy Thai have matched them for flavour and price.

I am a big fan of yellow curry, and Sassy Thai's was exceptional. So much rich flavour, and the meat to vegetable ratio was perfect. My partner got her usual Massaman beef curry, and it was delicious as usual (her words).

We also got an entree serve of chicken curry puffs each, and a serve of Roti with peanut sauce each, and shared a coconut rice. Roti bread serving is very generous, and the peanut sauce is thick and packed with taste. The coconut rice was fluffy and not overpowering.

Dishes are extremely well priced as well. Was very impressed and i agree with my partner, Sassy Thai is our new "go to" Thai restaurant. Thank you and keep up the delicious work.

Fast cheap and delicious with excellent vegetarian options.
You can get almost every dish with tofu and vegetables so it has a great range

Hi. My main reason for going to Sassy Thai has always been the amazing satay sauce. Which can also be bought in bottles to take home.
I think over the years I have introduced about 10 people to buying their Thai food from Sassy Thai after they tasted the satay sauce and thought it was the best they ever had…. EVER. I agreed! But very sadly, and I have no idea why, someone has decided to make the satay sauce differently. In my (and my friend’s) opinions, it is nowhere near as good. Please can you tell me why you changed the best satay sauce recipe anywhere?

Came here on Saturday for some take away and they were flat out but still managed to have our order ready close to the quoted time. I've eaten in and had take away here a few times now and the food is always delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Amazing food. The staff were a little inattentive. But the amazing meal more than made up for it. Yum!

First time customer. Ordered take away, they said 20 minutes. 45 minutes later my food was provided. No apologies. Never again!

Worst experience ever. We placed our order through Uber Eats at 5: 45pm on a Sunday. 2 hrs and 15 min later, after numerous calls, still no food. Then arguing when we wanted to cancel the order and they still tried to charge us! The customer service is horrible, no apologies, just excuses and completely rude.
*Just to clarify; the customer service was through Sassy Thai restaurant NOT Uber Eats. Uber Eats was extremely apologetic & refunded our money.

Delicious meal. Really loved the barramundi in ginger. The food is beautifully presented and really tasty. Lovely staff.

Honestly, please let me know if you find better Thai in the area. Lovely staff, kickass food, maybe the parking is rough but that's hardly on them. A foodie restaurant.

Great food, but a bit too noisy and crowded. In COVID times I'm concerned about distancing and nobody checked vaccination record either. I certainly will get take away

Absolutly the worst food ever. Threw it out. It was 45 mins late. Cold food Fish cakes were so small and thin i couldnt believe it. Had to pay $1 extra to get meat in stirfry. Meat was tough and entire dish floating in unpalatable fluid. NEVER AGAIN

Love the food from this restaurant in house. 0 stars if you would like a delivery using the delivery apps. Delivery is a gamble via the apps, you have to go through the process of getting a refund 2 out of 3 times.
Such a shame. The restaurant should be removed as a delivery option.

Beautiful food, delicious and such a variety on the menu. Thoughtful and friendly staff, a pleasure to go there.
