Ok dosa here is good though but they literally serve it with 4 tbspoon sambhar+ chutney with it.and for the prices they have and the fact that another dosa corner is just a block away and then, dosa hut another block away, then apna desi restaurant on a street just behind that too with so much better prices and taste, they shd seriously reconsider their prices or atleast better serve size with a better service! (staff could be better in service)
*even if we forget price for a moment, other than dosa and idly, not so good north indian food. And for that u have delhi rocks just a block away again.
So pls owner, come on make it better!

'UberEats' is an ongoing issue for many months now among all of us! I need to call them many times to make them Switch On their Ubereats Device to receive order especially between 11.30-12.30. ONLY ONE REQUEST - There may be several reasons but please change your Uber Eats timings permanently from 1pm or later as you are not ON during lunch times for delivering to CBD offices / Units. Thanks! I'll keep checking on it and if improved will give a 5Star

Ordered ghee roast masala dosa and masala tea. As promised white placing the order the dosa was crispy till the last bite. The staffs were quite friendly and food was hygienic! Made our Sunday morning!

Excellent food and really good service. Team is really good and the way they handled waiting and crowd is also good

Some food came out quickly, others were forgotten about, left with 1 dish arriving half an hour late and another not arriving at all. They still tried to charge us for it. Good food otherwise

1.was advised they didnt have space for our birthday cake in their fridge
2.some parts of the menu were unavailable
3.very oily food and poker faced staff

overall, an OVER RATED restaurant

Great food is the biggest reason you'd want to come back here again and again and again.service is average.it's quick if the place is half occupied.but the minute you see crowds waiting outside and orders rolling in.the kitchen here struggles. I'd say you come here before 7: 30 pm in the evenings for good service

Hi I know it’s busy but waiting for 40 minuets for a dish and guess what it was a wrong dish. No apologies, no curtesy. Just poor service with poor food. You can buy better food in $6 bucks in Melbourne.

Went in the morning, perhaps a bit too early and was told that they will be open for takeaways after about 30 minutes. In the evening (~6 pm), I was refused a takeaway again. Reason: they are not doing takeaways till mid-January as they are very busy (only a quarter seats were occupied)! Only if I was told about this in the morning itself! But just like my previous experiences, every staff member had to create a confilicting reason on the fly.

Ask them about the price for extra sambhar, and you will get responses from nothing to $9.

Won't waste any more effort to try again over there.

There only fall back and the only reason I do t frequent is that they dont split the table cheques. Otherwise I would be there much more - food is great!

Good food.must have a better ordering system than taking orders and forgetting during busy times.place, environment was quite good for family and even for couples and individuals who like to taste Indian food.

We have ordered chilli paneer and gobi 65 but they billed for 2chilli panner and delivered. Didn't expect this kind of service in first visit.

Went with lot of hopes as I was hoping with HSB, standard are same all across their branches across the globe but I am proved to be wrong.
Ordered executive business lunch.roti was like wafer and it was more of a papad, lemon rice was okay but nothing great, curd rice was ice cold, it was like eating snow, and snar rice was cold and tasteless, when I complained about curd rice the guy at the counter responded that they have to keep it in freezer else it would be spoilt, is why it's Cold, common give us a break have we not eaten curd rice anywhere or what that we don't know, all and all big let off for my flby HSB, so lesson leant never go by brand image rather check ratings before you venture

All the staff were not welcoming.
Food was very oily.
Stafd rudely refused to put our small birthday cake in their freedge.
Very highly overtated.
Overall food was below average.
Would never visit this place again.

Yeah, authentic vegetarian food, good taste and good environment. Only thing i didn't like was the masala tea which was not freshly made and on top 5$ for that, thats not justified, at least it shouldn't be cold.

We ordered catering for a family event in Melbourne, the food was brilliant. Mr. Randy and Mr. Rohit took the stress out of the catering for us and helped organize everything.
Overall it was a great experience and I will surely order from them again! Thanks HSB Melbourne!

Time charge extra for Samber when we buy dosa.

This is a heaven for all Indian food lovers. I really recommend the mini idlis with ghee and sambar. It's to die for. The service is fast and the staff is really friendly.

Doesnt taste that good though people say things about the taste but the people serving are rude especially the girls. They make those weird faces every time. If you dont want to, just tell the person to send someone else, next time if ever am there and I get that face, I am walking away right there!

We went to Saravana bhavan with a lot of expectation but were left disappointed. Service was just ok. Food was very expensive. Dosas were strictly ok as compared to what we have had in Saravana bhavan in India. The quantities of Sambar and chutney were very less. Uttapam tasted good. Can be better.
