Clean, quiet and cheap mid week lunch. Not a 5 star rating because sauce on Parma a little tangy indicating could have been cooked down a little more. Will be back.

Food has always been very good and the staff all very friendly and helpful which is very much appreciated as we have a meal here after visiting my mother's grave.

Just popped in to have a cuppa while l waited for the funeral l had to attend. Very handy right across the rd from springvale cemetery.

We stayed overnight in the newly renovated rooms and loved it! We had an amazing meal in the bistro after a few drinks. The staff are amazing and couldn’t be more helpful. We work away from home a lot (been away for 11 out of last 12 weeks) and staying here made us feel like we were with family. Thank you and we hope to see you all again soon:)

A great place to meet friends and share a meal and drinks. We play pool there and the place has a good atmosphere.

Even though there are no vegan meals, the chef made me a fantastic fried rice and a side of roast vege’s. The staff were amazing! So helpful and friendly and a credit to the venue. We were really happy (add a vegan option and I’ll be ecstatic.

We were there for a function. They really looked after everyone, staff were obliging and very helpful. I would organise a function here anything.

If you like a nice and quiet place to enjoy dinner this is the place to be especially around the pokie venue where there's no screaming and yelling of people winning winning on machines after a gamble

Very nice people are working in this hotel. Also feeling secure and warm welcome home make me feel come again but little chanc to win compare to others hotel. But, today. I gonna make history that Sandown hotel is the one u must visit cuz it life can change with surprising amazing win.

Second time we've used this venue for family gatherings after funerals and the service is great, staff are friendly and accommodating.

We arrived on Sunday for lunch without a booking. Despite a packed dining room, the staff quickly moved tables around to accommodate us. The food was sensational & only surpassed by the amazing service of the staff who were run off their feet. Highly recommended!

Actually it was a lot better than I remember. We didn't have a meal but there were a lot who were having late lunches and they all seemed to be having a good time. My wife did pokies and I just relaxed. The facilities for non - pokie - people are great! Nice tables and chairs, full bar, seats in front of big screen TVs showing sports etc. And they had today's paper to read as well. Very nice. And the wife won a jackpot too so she was happy as well

HUUUGE size for friendly price. The kids got free ice cream and juice with the kids meal. The taste and quality wasn't first class, but good value for money and still nice.
We liked our time here.

Good place to go play the pokies last at night. They won't give you a room unless you have a credit card! They won't even take a cash deposit

Went to try out the Seniors menu. A good and solid selection of six or seven meals for $9.95 for those holding a Seniors card.
My wife had the Fish Mornay, which she said was excellent, and I had Chicke Parmigiana which was delicious. Great value, but marred by two annoying house guests, a couple of flies who thought our meals were theirs.
I would recommend the visit.

Busy weeknight but service was fast and friendly. Had fish n chips which was very generous serving with side salad as well. My friend had prawn and scallop salad which was generous also.
