Definitely the best charcoal chicken place within Wyndham! Their butterfly chilli chicken is my all time favourite! Definitely sad when they've sold out

To be honest I usually travel further to get better charcoal chicken, however due to lockdown I decided to settle for our local charcoal chicken to give the benefit of the doubt. I’m not sure what I was expecting but every time the quality has always been quite mediocre.the chicken is always dry and the chips are cold. I didn’t even finish my food because it was that bland.

It’s a matter of trial and error when you’re trying to find a good charcoal chicken restaurant and for the last time I decided to try my luck, unfortunately this joint just isn’t for me.

(I’d just like to mention that I’m all for supporting local businesses and this was just my own experience, I believe this could be a learning curve for improvement!)

I ordered 2 quarter chicken and chips with gravy, a seafood salad and 10 chicken nuggets. I ordered on the phone and I made a mistake, but they were so lovely about it. I have trouble hearing so sometimes it can be difficult to order something over the phone. They gave me a refund on a salad I didn't mean to order and the entire staff were just so lovely about it. Not only did they make my night after my mistake, I was really happy with the amount of chips they put in my packet and they were cooked so well! The chicken and nuggets were also cooked just right. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to try this place. Amazing people who work there, so I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.:)

Nevertheless, the chicken although overpriced is delicious

Went in and bought a spring chicken roll. Worker wasn't even wearing mask correctly, it was inverted the wrong way and only covering her mouth. I saw her touch her face, nose, clothes and put her hands in her pocket multiple times, and then make my chicken roll without washing her hands or even using gloves. No understanding of the importance of hygiene during this pandemic whatsoever. After that, was not even sure I wanted to eat my food. Nonetheless, the roll was okay, I've had it before, it wasn't so good this time, quite dry, and the chicken was not warm at all. Because of this experience, I will eat takeaway less as although yes we are going out less, who's to say community transmission isn't from the food we keep ordering in.

Bought a whole chicken but the taste was dropped compared with last time. The taste is odd and the chicken is overcooked. Totally different taste as I tried it before that.

Food was amazing cooked perfectly ordered Chicken Schnitzel with chips. Everything was perfect little complaint would be wishing they had mushroom sauce or a variety of gravy as the gravy was Abit bland for me.

Best take away roast chicken I've had. The chip serving is very generous as well.

Good value for money

Two stars because sadly this used to be our fave local takeaway and now we will avoid at all costs. The past two occasions we have ordered, it’s been expensive and the food terrible. Paid $50 for a whole chicken, regular chips and a salad. Chicken was dry, chips were undercooked and cold and salad was soggy. Gave it another go tonight, called up and ordered in advance. Gave my order, order was repeated back to me but it was rushed and I was hung up on before I could give the girl my name. She told me it would be 10 mins. My husband went into collect our order 15 mins later and it wasn’t ready. Had to wait another 10 mins. When we got home and opened it there was no gravy on the chicken and chip packs as we requested and the chips inside were cold. So disappointing. No one in the family ate their food and it was effectively flushing another $50 down the drain.

Delicious and juicy chicken at good prices, the scallop potato was really good. Customer service is excellent. Would definitely be visiting more frequently.

Service was bad waited nearly three hours before i got my sub and when i got it it was just empty with tomato sauce and one meatball. I cant wait to come back tho as that one meatball was delicious.

Ordered a chicken sub. Asked for tomato. Around 10 minutes later I was asked if i wanted tomato sauce or tomato. I said tomato (as who has a chicken and lettuce, mayo roll with tomato sauce in it?) Got home, and yeah low and behold tomato sauce instead of tomato. I am pretty sure the staff made it and the owner a gentlemen obviously miss heard, made a mistake on the order as I noticed they were mulling about around my order. Then just carried on with preparing the meal and provided it to me without confirming. Store has potential but yeah, 50/50 if I go back.

When you order off the website and expect to pay $30, only to be charged $37. "Oh we haven't updated it yet". Poor service, no smiles just blank looks. To top it off the chicken was dry and there were bones in the chicken roll.

Try the lemon & herb and chilli flavoured charcoal chicken. Their roast potatoes are good as well. Extra points for serving halal.

Had a little bit of a wait but staff were helpful, food was the same as other Charcoal Chicken places.

Ordered was incorrect, we only received half our order, when I called the number was wrong. They have incorrect number on website. Will not order from here again.

Going downhill… fast! Long-time - and used to be a very happy - customer. Their prices have recently gone up. Fair enough. But lately, their half-chicken and chips boxes contain LESS THAN ONE THIRD of the chips they used to put in the box. VERY disappointing. With GAMI Chicken and Beer having recently opened just 100m away, I would have thought they’d want to put in the extra effort and impress - not demoralise – their existing customers. Tried to reach out to them via their website… but received zero response. Clearly don’t give a stuff about their customers, either. Don't really understand their logic: now charging more and providing (a significant amount) less. Save your money and walk 100 metres across the car park to GAMI, instead.

Great chicken shop! Well priced with quality food and friendly service. "Fowl play" burger was super tasty!
