When I got my food I took a bite out of it and not only was the chicken dry there were feathers still a couple of feathers on the chicken they forgot to get while I was eating I saw it and probably ate it as well I was appalled at this and got refund: (

The chicken was way way too dry! I felt they were more worried about taking my money then giving me good food. Chips were the only good part of the meal.

Prices have become ridiculous.
Family size chips for 6 people for $15 would be lucky to feed 4.such a shame as we have always like getting dinner from here.

My go-to chicken shop! This place has been a favourite of mine for many years due to the amazing food and friendly environment.
The chicken is beautifully cooked every time and the chips/gravy are superb
Also shoutout to the parma - it’s literally amazing.

Definitely recommend supporting this business if you are locals - I have never had a bad experience here!

Taste wise our last experience wasn’t as good as before unfortunately. Chips size was reduced to half in the Family deal. Not sure if we will go back anytime soon.

The new chef is the worst, the skinny one was ok before. Wouldn’t let us warm the food we called before and confirmed but when there he says no. Also a little rude.
Don’t recommend if you have any other option. The food is half good but customer service is at the bottom

I haven’t seen that guy there, I said new chef not new owner. Could have told me nicer, he didn’t have to be rude could have just nicely told me it’s not possible.

There food is usually rlly delicious, can b a bit pricey compared to others. Unfortunately the last couple of times there chicken hasn’t been nice, but apart from that never rlly had an issue. The manager is nice, there staff don’t have the best customer service, no smiles and greetings, they just seem over the job, it gives a bad face to the shop. But never mean or disrespectful just need more energy.

Chicken was very dry. Chewed every bite for a while which got old. They also overcharged me. The chips were good tho. Probably won't return.

My Greek salad was basically tomato's and cucumbers, no olives, no onions and absolutely no feta! Is that even a Greek Salad then? Did you deliberately scoop the tomatoes and cucumbers because that tray was chocka full of feta and olives? #stingey much?

Sanctuary lakes Charcoal Chicken shop is one of my wife and my favourite takeaway Chicken dinners. We order the half chicken and chips (extra salt on the chips), is just awesome. My wife also has 1/4 Chicken greek salad, then we also alternate between the totally delicious Chicken parma and chips.

There is also a Portuguese style Chicken with chilli or lemon basting.

There guys just Cook the best Chickens over hot coals.

The staff are friendly and patient when people who take while to decide on their order.

I highly recommend if you have not already tried to maybe give it a go. I think you will love the quality of food.

Not sure what happened maybe you guys were overwhelmed today with orders ended up getting a really small piece of chicken with the $14 deal and the pasta didn’t taste great the chips were good.

Could be my problem, but I dont think it taste better than the Coles 10 dollar one. The salad is also not quite good tasted than other similar takeaway.

Did not see them using gloves while handling the food. Also I don't think that the nearly cooked chickens should be under the newly put chickens since they can drop on top of cooked ones and contaminate them. Chips are way too salty, as if they are put to bath in salt. Hope OP makes it more presentable in future.

Used to be good. The girls working there stuffed up our order even though we clearly mentioned what we wanted. We asked for “Chilli Chicken” and upon arriving at home it turned out to be plain chicken with stuffed potatoes. Always make sure you open and check your take away before leaving the store.

Went to pick up chicken for mothers day lunch opened it up and its black burnt. First bad experience there

Very good food and portions at extremely reasonable prices. The home-made garlic dip was fantastic. Would highly recommend and I will return.

I really like their fowl play burger and their chicken is nice, thats why we often buy from here. The only thing that made them lose a star is that the chips quality isn't consistent, sometimes it's overcooked, which is a shame. Hasn't put me off from buying their chicken and burgers though.
